Nice facility with clean rooms close to the city center.

This hotel was a lovely base for exploring Peja. You could walk along the river and join various walks into the hills. You could also walk to lots of nice cafes and bars or get reasonably priced trips out to local sights with Taxi Beka who were based just down the road. I recommend a trip to White Drin Falls and lunch at one of the restaurants up there. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and had very comfortable rooms. The staff were also very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Superb in every way. Central location but quiet. I cannot imagine that there is another small hotel in Peja which can rival Doa. Excellent restaurant adjoining the hotel, popular with locals and visitors. The well-cooked, hearty breakfasts served at your table are here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were a group of 9 people, and all of us were very satisfied. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated with charming vintage details. Breakfast was included in the price, with several options to choose from, all of which were delicious.

Great breakfast with sweet or savoury options at the restaurant downstairs. Great ambiance and stylish but also very practical with a comfy bed, nice shower, good air conditioning and friendly staff. Free parking right in front of the hotel made things much less stressful.

The DOA Hotel is a well-located boutique hotel property featuring elegant interiors and an impressive collection of antiques that lend the establishment a refined and distinctive charm. The initial impression upon check-in was positive — the room appeared comfortable and spacious. However, several operational issues significantly affected the stay. The television was not connected to any streaming service, and despite staff efforts, the issue remained unresolved. We chose to overlook this as an inconvenience as we were exhausted from a full day of hiking and exploring. Later that night, the air-conditioning began emitting only warm air even when set to cool, making the room unbearably hot and stifling for restful sleep. Out of options, we raised the issue around midnight as we struggled to sleep in the stifling heat, but we understood that no immediate assistance could be provided at that hour. The lack of blackout curtains already allowed the streetlights to flood into the room, and opening the windows for ventilation only exacerbated both the lighting and noise problems. We finally managed to fall asleep around 3 a.m., only to be awakened at 6 a.m. by the loud call to prayer from the nearby mosque. The following morning, the staff explained that during the approach of winter, the system automatically switches to heating mode and that all rooms are affected in the same way. A fan was provided as a temporary measure — appreciated, though insufficient for comfort , particularly for a boutique hotel setting. Although disappointed, we chose not to let this episode overshadow our travels. Verdict : Restful sleep in a hotel should be paramount, and adopting a “make do” attitude toward temperature control, light, and noise insulation is unbecoming of true hospitality.

“Exceptional”

We had a great stay at this hotel. A beautiful entertwining of antique with the modern. Situated perfectly, only 400-500 meters from the center, in a quiet neighborhood. Tasty breakfast and a great restaurant with a rich menu, situated right underneath the hotel. You open your room windows to a magnificient view of the Rugova canyon. Last but not least, very helpful, kind and acommodating owner, thank You for everything. A visit to beautiful Peja should be accompanied with a stay at this place. Recommended!

Good location friendly staff, great breakfast and they let us park our motorcycles in the owners nearby secure garden just 30 meters down the road.

“Quite hotel with parking in the city centre”

A pretty little very quiet nonsmoking room in a lovely hotel with wonderful staff in a quiet side street directly attached to the city centre, so it is only 5-10 minutes walk to the bazaar and other sights in the city centre. Free parking is in a guarded parking lot right around the the corner. There is a restaurant attached with inside seating and a wine-covered garden where the good breakfast is served.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and helpful. Location central. Good Breakfast. I would recommend this Hotel.

Magnificent hotel! The decoration is superb. The perfect welcome as well as the restaurant.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great experience. The reception was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. The room was large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean – 10/10. There's also a lovely terrace to relax on. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Great location, free parking and the staff was helpful with recommending places to hike. Nice rooms and bathrooms. You have everything you need within walking distance from this place.
