Overview
Hotel Emeraude is situated in the ski resorts of Vallandry and Paradiski, on the ski slopes and 400 metres from Vanoise Express cable car. It offers an indoor swimming pool, hammam and a relaxation area. Each room at the Hotel Emeraude feature wooden-panelled walls. It is equipped with a private bathroom and a TV. Some rooms have a balcony or views of Mont Blanc. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine and a buffet breakfast is available daily. Perfect location near Vallandry lift for access to ski both Les Arcs and La Plagne (via Vanoise Express). Clean room, breakfast and spa facilities were what we expected at the price.

Location is superb. Staff are attentive, very friendly and work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Breakfast and evening meals were plentiful and superb! Great food! Cleanliness was great throughout the whole hotel.

“Cheap, friendly staff, could use a renovation”
Staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to speak in English. The bar area is a cosy place to chill in the evening. The room was clean, except for the carpet which was stained according to its age. Breakfast was OK, about what I expected. Room had a relatively new TV with quite a lot of channels, although all French. Hot shower with a good level of water pressure. I had a pretty good burger in the bar. The location is good, close to the piste, though ‘ski in’ is a bit of a stretch because you’d need to ski up a steep hill. You can ski out straight to the Vallandry gondola 25m away. Luggage storage was available and was locked. Showers were available to allow skiing after checking out.

“Cosy, clean and friendly hotel next to the piste.”
The location was perfect for us, ski in/ski out to 2 lifts, eateries and bar a short walk away. Warm, cosy and friendly little hotel with lovely, helpful staff. The room was very small which we knew beforehand but the bathroom was a good size with great shower and heated towel rail. The room was warm and comfortable and serviced daily. Good value for money.
