The location was superb, could not be better. But, it was a long way from Paynesville. Very quiet, plenty of space (acres of it) between ‘lodges’. Visitors need to be totally self sufficient, (but kitchen facilities excellent). Would stay again if travelling in that area.

“Waterfront retreat with water activities equipment provided”
An peaceful retreat, away from everything with a private jetty to relax and do water activities at. We came here for a short break looking for some peace and quiet, as well as enjoying the provided standup paddle board and kayaks. Owner was super helpful and check in was easy. We had a car battery problem on the day of departure and the property owner helped us fixed it promptly which makes the whole experience very low stress. The grounds are well maintained and the lodge was spacious with a massive window view of the garden and wildlife. It has everything that we were looking for and will definitely return for another summer retreat. Oh and the Wifi speed is maxed out and excellent.

“Amazing!”
Location! Absolutely magnificent views! Right at the lake front with lots of kangaroos, different varieties of birds, swans all out and about. Having two bathrooms and two toilets was great considering we were two families travelling together. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities.

“Lovely Gippsland getaway where you can relax, unwind and enjoy nature.”
The accommodation was very spacious allowing the kids the spread out, relax and feel like they were at home. Being very close to wildlife was a fantastic bonus.
