The location. The fact that I had a room. The bathroom was decent and it was quite clean actually.

Good price-value and cozy accommodation in a convenient location on the way down from the Paul valley. Very nice and helpful owner and some cute cats will be waiting for you.

“Feeling at home at Vito’s Misurino. Centrally located, but super quiet during the night. Darling cats!”

Vito, our Italian host, picked us up from the public transportation stop, to walk us to the accomodation. Upon reservation, I kindly asked for a room with a private bathroom, and was given a prompt positive reply. Vito gave us really good information about the hikes in the area. He had a really detailed map, which we photographed. Vito lives in the same building and it was like being part of an Italian family with privacy, when wanted. Possible to use his kitchen, which we only used once for cooking eggs. No hairdryer, but then again, none is expected in that category. Vito takes care of minimum seven cats, feeding them and giving them much needed love. I love cats, so that was marvellous for me. The are all clean and healthy. The house is near everything in the village, but completely quiet. The room and bathroom was nice and practical. Can absolutely reccomend Vito’s Misurino.

Just after the Crater walk you will reach the hotel in the small village. Vito the owner is a nice person from Italy that welcome us. Room was big with double bad and bathroom. Silent place. Very cheap price.

“Simple and Good”

The location was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to go for the long Cova Crater hike (loop from the valley) which was simply stunning!! A school bus took us a little into the valley in the morning. The room was simple without a fan, the bathroom was directly next to the room. Everything we needed.

“A backpacker's heaven”

It's unbelievable what a great service we got here for such a small money value! The room was cleaned every day, which I really did not expect in a budget type of accomldation and never experienced before. The shower, omg!!! It felt like a luxury being able to take hot shower with good pressure, that is not what you can take for granted in Cape Verde. Breakfast is Italian bruschettas of various rich flavours, and it's BIG, you are super full after it and ready for a day of trekking. Vito is such a kind and helpful host.

Perfect place, room and bathroom are nice and clean. Super nice host and amazing breakfast. When I come back to the island I will stay here again!

Vito is super nice and always there to answer any questions we might have or to give advice. The room and bathroom were very adequate and clean, you can use the kitchen, and Vito's breakfast was the best I had on the island!

Breakfast was a wonderful surprise with different vegetarian bruschettas and a full thermos of coffee :) Really good bed, hot water in the shower and a desk to sit and write at. Super friendly host and alot of lovely cats!

Well sign posted, bright, clean spacious room with windows and good lighting, use of kitchen, great water pressure and very hot shower, one shared bathroom between 2 rooms only so no waiting around to use, 5 minute walk to shops, front door key given and very reliable internet. Additionally a bunch of very friendly cats.

Very nice place. Host Vito was always giving great suggestions and was very helpfull all the time. He loves animals so he rescues 10 cats that are making hilarious situations and are trained by Vito to not bother any customers. The place is very loving and homey with everything super clean. Showers work fantastic. Nice artistic decoration makes it also looking cool and hip. I loved it and had a great stay. It is close to center of town and collectivo pick up points. Nice restaurants around. You sleep in the valley so nice views and local noises to make travel experience complete

Vito is a really nice person He helped us with a lot of information about the area .we really enjoyed our stay at his place. Room was really clean,one of the best shower in Santo Antao. Definitely we would recommend to anyone this accommodation. 10 from us 👍👌
