“Best location”
Best location in Pau that you could have. Our window looked out on a square with a fountain and pretty flower beds. The man at the reception was very polite, nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good for the price. Although the rooms are dated and in need of renovation, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Very good location with well priced public parking next to the hotel. It is a two star hotel but could do with a good lick of paint. Good value for money though.

“An absolute gem in a wonderful small city”
The hotel has character (in a good way!) Proprietor/Receptionist very helpful (and keen to speak English) Lift (but see below) Quiet (effective double glazing) Well maintained Location at heart of Pau (and only 15 mins walk - and funicular ride! - from station) 5 min walk from spectacular view across to the Pyrenees View from my (front facing) room Reasonably priced breakfast I had control of heating
