Beautiful old style teak dwellings set amongst shady trees, with two pools (kids and adults). Absolutely charming, but also modern functionality (eg excellent showers in room, v comfortable beds, aircon AND a fan so no mosquitoes). Owners and staff couldn’t be more helpful- thank you Debra! Great beach front location on quiet, beautiful Dongtan beach, adjacent to “gay” beach (marked by 🏳️‍🌈 flags). Good breakfast. Nice bar/restaurant on premises and plenty more nearby.

Over past 20 years had numerous stays at Rabbit and always a highlight. Staff always pleasant, great breakfast, lovely surroundings and room and facilities first class.

“Fantastic little tranquil oasis 🥰”

Everything! The owner Deborah and her husband make you feel so welcome. They have really thought of everything to make your stay truly magical. We were in room 506, massive King size bed and double bed, plus full sized fridge freezer and microwave. All crockery and glasses. The balcony was beautiful. Lots of squirrels, butterflies and birds all around you amongst the palm trees. The location is great, just use the BOLT or GRAB App for any taxis or bikes to get around. The breakfast is great, everything you could wish for. The chef Chat and his team work so hard. We booked a Thai cookery class with the chef, it was great. All the staff there are friendly, polite courteous and helpful, they cannot do enough for you. We had the families pool to ourselves all week, we didn't use the main pool, but it looked lovely. We booked the elephant sanctuary excursion through Reception, fantastic! Such a memorable day. The Hilton rooftop bar is also a must, happy hour 5-7pm. There are plenty of massages to choose from, so cheap. Opposite the hotel, pitch 13 on the beach is Guy and his sister Noy, lovely people. Noy offers the best foot pedicure and manicure. Guy really looks after you with regards to any sun beds/drinks.

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is located right on the beach yet in the grounds it was very tranquil. The staff were very helpful - arranging taxis etc.

The houses surrounded by forest were so quiet and entirely private. It was unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. And across the road is the beach—miles of it. The breakfasts were huge, varied and always beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Everyone was so polite and so caring. Nothing left me feeling unsatisfied. This is one of the most relaxing, clean, peaceful and perfectly catered for hotels I have ever stayed in. This was my second time here, and I really hope I can make it a third. Thank you everyone for making my stay a joy.

“Boutique resort with cute rooms and lovely breakfast”

The resort is boutique and feels more homely than many big chain hotels. Two lovely pools, one for families and one for adults. The breakfast was great and the location is on the beach, close to many restaurants and cafes
