Nice rooms, albeit in a relatively uncomfortable location, appealing facilities, great pool, and fantastic food. The staff was friendly, polite, and eager to help. The manager, Mr. Lazaros, was omnipresent and immensely efficient.

My second visit to Marpunta and I absolutely loved it once again! The setting is absolutely heavenly with a huge pool and two private beaches. The food is a massive highlight with great variety and amazing quality. Our room was very comfortable, great AC and comfy bed.

Marpunta is a little corner of paradise for those who love peace and nature! During our stay, we were met only with smiles and thoughtful gestures from all the staff. The housekeeping ladies were discreet and impeccable, the waiters attentive and ready to meet our every need. The real jewel in the crown is the reception team – true professionals in hospitality! A special thanks to the very knowledgeable Theodore, who pampered us from the very first moment and made us feel right at home! A big thank you also goes to the reception manager, Eugenia, who takes care of every single detail with a genuine smile always on her face. Her ability to lead the whole team with respect and kindness creates a joyful and welcoming atmosphere – exactly what one should find in any holiday destination! With just a few small adjustments and some limitations regarding the presence of four-legged friends, this place could easily become a five-star hotel! Keep up the great work! Azzurra and Dennis

“Completely fantastic!”

The food was wonderful, the location completely stunning and the overall experience was very relaxing. The pool and beaches are beautiful and there is everything you need for a great holiday. Staff work hard to make everything pleasant. Taxis to Patitiri or the beautiful old town are available if you want to get out of the resort and soak up a bit more of Alonissos.

“Marpunta... A remarkable experience all around”

Marpunta Resort was absolutely delightful. The grounds the hotel is located on are exquisite, the pool was incredible, the private beaches (yes there are multiple) are stunning with crystal waters and well situated to offer good protection from wind/waves. They're made up of small pebbles which means no sand to clean off and no seaweed either. But bring your water shoes because without them, the pebbles can be painful to walk on. That said, the best part of the resort was the staff. Kostas and his team were extremely attentive to our families needs. A special thank you to Lela and Stefanos at the pool bar who catered to our every need despite being extra busy with a wedding that was going on at the same time as our stay. And an extra big THANK YOU to Christina for the lovely souvenirs for our children:) The house cleaning was on point and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. The all inclusive option was excellent value for us. Delicious food options offered all day and again the service was exceptional. Drinks are available all day (10 am to 11 pm) I read many complaints on this site about the drinks being inconsistent/subpar but our experience was quite the opposite, very smooth service and consistent pours. The pool side service was great offering pizzas, burgers and sandwiches inbetween normal meal hours. This hotel was a strong 4 star throughout our stay ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ✨

Location is fabulos. Spectacular view and sunset. I saw delphins at dawn. The staff is exceptional ! The restaurants are so so good- top classe !

“Great place to stay, excellent staff at all levels that want to make you feel welcomed”

The resort is an excellent destination for relaxing and truly recharging your batteries. We were not so font of the island so we were lucky that we stayed at such a great place. Breakfast and the meals were excellent and plentiful while staff was very friendly and accomodating. When a mishap happened with the pool bar menu, the manager Argyris was very professional and eager to listen and resolve the issue. Special thanks to Danai, head of the main restaurant, who has a special quality to make you feel welcomed and always eager to accomodate the guests.

“Beautiful but very expensive staying in Alonnisos”

Fantastic view of the rooms but only for those (extremely expensive) facing the sea. Very good breakfast (but I wonder why they stopped fresh orange juice machine. I suppose that they didn't want the clients to drink a lot of it, which is not logical since we paid a lot of money for our staying) Very good behavior of the people of the stuff.

“Beautiful setting, high end accommodation, fantastic food & drinks.”

The hotel was set in a beautiful position overlooking a stunning bay with fabulous views. The accommodation was set up higher above the reception area but it gave a feeling of peace & tranquility, very quiet even if the hotel was busy it felt as if it was exclusive. The hotel staff were fantastic! A special mention to Dimitri who looked after my family with care & attention suggesting places to visit & organising day trips, nothing was too much to ask, he should be commended by the Hotel senior management team & company. Other members of the team Simon our friendly shuttle bus driver , Avram who worked tirelessly & his wife who worked in restaurant. Mario & Georgia at the pool bar who greated us every day with a smile & a welcome we will definitely return. We all had a wonderful time only sad to of not stayed longer. Until next time.
