Everything, from the room, the views, the service, were exceptional and more than I could ask for! Mr. Yiannis was an exceptional host! It was fun chatting with him in the mornings before I was off to the beach and was giving me valuable advice and tips. The place was sparkling clean. I had a room with a sea view and I was shocked at how beautiful it was. Stunning! At night you could hear the sea and it was the epitome of tranquility for me. Mr. Yiannis picked me at the port and dropped me off too, in case you are hesitating about walking to your room with luggage upon arrival and departure. Rousoum beach is a minute away. The area is very quiet and tranquil and I felt safe at all times. It's also conveniently located nearby a grocery store and bus stops so you can take the transit or private buses to beaches and Old town or Steni Vala. My room also had sun loungers, in case you love taking your breakfast on one under the morning sun with a stunning sea view. I'll definitely return here, probably sooner than later 😅

“Lovely view”

Lovely rooms overlooking a beautiful bay. Very comfortable, clean and good value. Kind & helpful staff. A short walk to the port and buses to move around the island.

Beautiful view from the sheltered balcony. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean and tidy. The owner offered to pick me up from the port which was so kind and generous of him. I was very grateful. The balconies are right next to eachother but the accommodation and the area are very quiet. No traffic. No noise.

The view of the sea and balcony were amazing. The owner also did free transfers from the ferry port.

Lovely host, really hospitable and helpful . Stunning views from balcony and easy access to the beach and town. Supermarket, bakery and fruit shop within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed a trouble free stay and wished we could have stayed there longer.

The apartment is perfect and very central, you have a lovely view to the sea and the host is so welcoming, they do room service every day and they also pick you up and drop you off at the ferry! Really recommended! We couldn't ask for better for our stay in Alonissos

“Greek sunshine”

The property is in an excellent location. A short walk from the port. It has excellent views along the coast. A short walk down to a lovely sheltered beach.. There is a cafe, a small supermarket and a couple of tavernas in the cove.

Wonderful owner who picked me up and drove me back to the port. Really nice clean appartment with a lovely view overlooking the crystal clear ocean some steps down where you there is a small beach with sunbeds rental. A big fridge and balcony with chairs, table and sunbeds, all in the shade. Very close to a big supermarket, bakery, the harbour and the bus stop to the old town. Loved it!😎🏖️

Good value for money, great location, host spoke good english, very easy to get to all local high quality shops, bakers, greengrocers, supermarket, etc. great beach below the Ethra with a couple of restaurants. Bus stop to Chora (the old town 1.8€ each way) 2 minutes away. Fab view overlooking the bay, lots going for it, will go back without a doubt.

“Traditional Greek rooms”

Location was perfect for us,quiet area but easy reach of facilities of town. This was important because at end of September many of the out of town restaurants were shut.Views were delightful

“Magical stay. We managed to walk everywhere so a car or scooter is not necessary for us”

We booked the Ethra room at short notice and took an economy room from 14th to 16th September. We were pleasantly surprised as the room had the most fantastic picture postcard view from the decent sized balcony. We never got tired of looking out over the bay. From this location Rousoum Gialos beach with restaurants was a two minute walk down some easy steps, . We were able to walk to the port complete with restaurants, three beaches, Rousoum Gialos, Melia beach and Megalos Mourtias so we were more than happy to stay at the Ethra rooms. The room had a fridge and coffee / tea making facilities and for the price was very good value. Footnote: There is also a bus (four minutes walk) across the road that takes you to the Old Town (Chora). In our opinion the Ethra feels like the hub and a perfect location for getting around.

OMG, the view from the balcany!! Amazing!! we loved our stay and location is perfect to reach beautiful beaches easy but still be close to the action in Patiri. will come again to this amazing place!

Ethra hotel was great. The owner, Mr. Giannis is a very friendly person who gave us a lot of useful information and facilitated our vacations. The room is comfortable and the view amazing! I would definitely recommend it.
