Wonderful, brand new, clean and friendly apartment, lovely owner. Pterno is an excellent starting point for exploring the beauties of eastern Sicily - all attractions from Messina to Agrigento are easily accessible by car. It is a small town, but there is a great restaurant near the hotel, we enjoyed having dinner there after a whole day of hiking.
