The owner was very sweet and so so helpful. Breakfast was amazing. It was out of season and work was taking place to improve so looked a bit tired but price reflected this.

“Special place, with special people :-)”
Romane & Pamir are adorable and very welcoming. It is simple, affordable and very charming. The breakfast ist amaizing. There is a nice bar, with nice drinks and from time to time a music band (only until 23-24h). Patara beach is an experiece you shouldnt miss if you are in the region!

“Piece of haven”
Medusa is a little piece of haven. We met the owner’s friend, and we are really grateful for the way he welcomed us. He created a really homely, friendly and peaceful environment which we were sad to leave. In terms of comfort, we slept in a small bungalow so it can get chilly at night (we were there in January) but nothing too bad especially with extra blankets. In terms of facilities, clean and shared bathroom. The large open kitchen is also available to use for the guests. The location is great, at the heart of the small Patara village, walking distance from the sand dunes, the beach and the ancient city. We will definitely visit again if we come back to Turkey. Thank you again Seymus and Pamir 💕

“Good place to stay to meet fellow travellers and cook for yourself.”
Wonderful warm welcome and good local advice. They had recently had a fire in part of the complex so everything was a bit disorganised, however that did not detract from our stay. Good air-conditioning and comfortable clean room. breakfast was great, freshly made and good range. Use of kitchen also very good. Wi -fi not working due to fire they did have some access in kitchen area.

Medusa Camping is one of those places you fall in love with and not want to leave. I will definately be returning for a longer stay. The Staff, (Ezgi), were so lovely to me, very welcoming and friendly, made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Pamir, the owner, is a lovely man, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. :) The ancient ruins of Patara are on the doorstep, the Lykian Capitol of Xanthos is just a few miles away in Kinik and the Temples of Letoon are easily accessible too and a must see. The Dunes of Patara and Patara Beach are something very special.
