“Beautiful old castle repurposed into a most functional hostel overlooking old Passau”
The location and buildings are fantastic with incredible views! You are steps away from old town Passau and it is easy to navigate to the hostel. The free breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety.

Beautiful location, but very high up. Most people will have to walk and push their bikes I think. But a very special place, good breakfast. Glad I stayed there

“I liked the place and the hospitality.”
Location is excellent, breakfast was very good, and information sharing by the staff is very helpful during the stay. They also supported for access to bus stand and cab hiring.

“A great, romantic and clean hostel in Passau!”
This is a great hostel in Passau in a bit of a castle, with excellent view from the walls. This needs a few minutes of walk but it is well worth it out in the clean air. There is also a restaurant close by ("Oberhaus") with good food but prices above what a hostel-dweller may expect. Everything was nice and clean. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was fine too.

The position with the view on the town is overall the best thing you can have in the hostel. All the other things were good: room, breakfast, accommodation.
