Good location right on the beach snd a short tuktuk ride to most places.

“Great potential but disappointing”

Small guesthouse with a communal area which was great for us as 2 families travelling together. Some of the rooms did look like the pictures but not all. The food was tasty although it was slow (but also due to the more isolated nature of Kalkudah, it did take longer for them to get the ingredients). Although the staff were willing, and helped when we pointed out immediate issues (e.g. faulty lighting, fans and air conditioning not working properly) there was clearly a lack of management and direction.

“Comfortable, clean, beautiful location”

Comfortable guesthouse backed onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Rooms were clean and of reasonable size, small pool a refreshing addition with multiple patio/seating areas. I was in regular touch with a coordinator from the Kay Jay HQ who was responsive with good English - he helpfully arranged tuks and taxis when there were language barriers with the local team.

“Great Location but mixed blessings!”

Amazing location several kilometers of perfect beach with golden sand no rocks and good sea for swimming. The property is very close to the beach and our room looked over it and we could hear the waves. Wi Fi and air conditioning worked well and the staff were kind . Breakfast was ok.

Facilities and modern property. Staff were super friendly. Nice clean beach out front and short walk to restaurants and bottle shop

Wow - we are so glad we stayed here, we thought we may have been a bit too far out of the main area, but was so glad that we were in the end! We had the beach to ourselves, with nobody for miles, the pool was superb and staff were great.

From the dining area we could see and hear the sea. It was magical. The food was delicious and the staff did everything to make us comfortable and happy. We loved staying here!

The location was incredible. I was expecting somewhere to go and spend my vacation calmly. I found this place is ideal for relaxing.

During my stay at passikudah, Kay Jay Beach house hotel provided me an exceptional service. Me and my friend experienced good sea foods and local foods here. and the climate also were really good for us. the hotel is also clean and well maintain.

Indeed It was a great time I had during my stay at Kay Jay Beach House. The atmosphere was epic. Room was spacious and bathroom was cleaned. foods were delicious. I would recommend this hotel those who are seeking nice calm place near by beach to stay.

The room And bathroom was not clean and smell everywhere. It was a really bad stay. Very old property and no maintenance at all. It doesn’t look like as it show in the pictures.
