The best place for it's price category in pasikuda, rustic cabanas with an outside bathroom and rain shower, fantastic breakfast served coconut pancake with syrup fresh fruit and great sri Lankan pot of tea, a good relaxing vibe and the manager is friendly, recommended 😊

The location is proxmit to the beach and very good rooms.

This hotel is in a great location, right between the Kalkudah and Passikudah beaches. There is a small shop nearby where you can buy delicious cashews. The natural surroundings make it ideal for relaxation and rest. Arun is a very hospitable host! His uncle prepared delicious pancakes and fresh juices. He also brought us buffalo curd. The cabanas are cosy and separated from each other, so you won't be disturbed by neighbours. We spent a nice time bathing on Kalkudah and Passikudah Beaches every day. Kalkudah Beach is a deserted beach with crystal-clear water. There were no big waves in May, so it was perfect for swimming! There are plenty of four or five star hotels along Passikudah Beach, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. Passikudah Beach has always shallow waters, but it is perhaps a little dirtier and more crowded than Passikudah.

It is location and simplicity, Price is reasonable to the Given Facilities , staff is very friendly and Helpful. Pasikuda beach is in walking distance.

Inn On The Bay is a pleasant place to stay as it has a lot of shady trees that keeps the area cool. The host was very friendly, upgraded us to an A/c room and was helpful with getting us to the correct bus for our next trip to Arugam Bay. He is also a great chef making an excellent breakfast. The location of Inn On The Bay is perfect for crossing the road to access the best beach for swimming and to local restaurants within walking distance nearby. Highly recommend.

Nice staff, be aware that outside toilets can as good as bad depends on your perspective of nature and dealing with small insects. I liked it. although because its outside the conditions of the bathroom weren't great. quite warned out.

We stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed for a couple more. The room/small cabin was sooo cute! With a shower that had an open roof. We loved that the cabin was wooden, so it had none of that damp smell you get sometimes. The room was fresh and airy and the shower pressure was amazing! The place was tranquil and so picturesque. The beach was also close, so that was a nice bonus.

Very kind staff, very beautiful place, a lovely garden with big trees giving shade from the sun. Lovely outdoor bathroom, it’s very well sheltered and suitable also in rain and despite being outside much cleaner than many other bathrooms I have seen on my travel here. Breakfast was big and very tasty! Happy to come again:)

Only a short walk from the beach, surrounded by local eateries where you can enjoy authentic Sri Lankan food—rice and fish curry for around £1, the staff and the owner were very kind and helpful>

This is by far the most beautiful accommodation we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and if we hadn’t already booked our stay in Arugam Bay, we definitely would have extended our time here. The garden looks like paradise — it feels as if you’re hidden away in the wild, yet you’re just a few steps from a busy beach. Our cottage was beautiful and spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was also a desk, and when we arrived, we found bottled water, tea, cutlery, and a kettle waiting for us, so we didn’t need to go shopping right away. There’s a restaurant in the garden, and right next to it a small shop where you can buy everything you need. The best thing about this place is the large open-air bathroom with a stunning view of the sky and palm trees — it feels like showering in the jungle under a waterfall. Absolutely beautiful! We spent a lot of time relaxing on the sunbed in the garden and sitting on the porch in front of our cottage. The host was very kind and clearly takes great care of everything, especially the garden. He even gave us a tuk-tuk ride to the bus station when we left, which was great. I honestly thought it wasn’t possible, but this place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. 🌅

Things I loved: - dogs of the hostels are very cute. ☺️ - location. Very close to the beach - walking 5 minutes. - close by to the sunrise point 22 minutes walk. It was the best sunrise I’ve seen in Sri Lanka. - room was big and shower was amazing. With plants decor. - the host was very helpful when we requested how to get to Arugam bay.

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka ! - Warm welcome, and with a much appreciated fruit juice :) - Beautiful bungalow and garden, the room is very spacious, and the outside bathroom and terrace area are great, - Tasty dinner. - Perfect location just a few minutes away from the Pasikuda and Kalkudah beaches. Wish we'd stayed one more night !

Comfortable beds, beautiful small houses between trees. Calm and nice place for rest.
