Do not be put off with the size of this hotel because large events are in the rooms the other side to other people and the pool is enormous so doesn’t feel crowded and with the beach beyond feels very spacious . We arrived on the May1st celebrations weekend and there were quite a few groups doing their individual activities. It was very interesting to see. The welcome you receive when you arrive is outstanding and there was a special person called Nithan who helped us so much to get the best room: we ended up having a lovely groundfloor terraced room looking at the sea - wonderful. Chamara on the desk was also very helpful The room was extremely spacious and the bed enormous and I slept like a baby It was cleaned everyday by a great team . The pool as I have said was enormous and with a shallow end in the middle with deeper ends children stayed in the middle while we could swim in deeper water . The beach is beautiful and swimming possible - just have to look out for some rocks. It was very interesting to see the public beach beyond the hotel with the fun locals had in the sea. We had breakfast included and there was a massive range of food as well as an egg station. Th restaurant staff were amazing especially y and we have forgotten his name but he always got us a table we wanted and attentive as well as friendly. The chefs on the egg station were also so good to us cooking us bacon. I would recommend this hotel if you like good service and being next to the sea

I had a fantastic stay — excellent service, spotless rooms, and truly outstanding food. Every member of staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and regularly checked if there was anything else I needed. The restaurant manager was consistently attentive and ensured that the food in all the restaurant was always kept to a very high standard.

I recently stayed at Amaya Beach Pasikudah, which is located right in front of Pasikuda Beach. What I liked most was the beautiful and relaxing view, along with the calm atmosphere of the hotel. The proximity to the public beach was also convenient, as it was only a short 1–3 minute walk away

We loved the location, but the main reason we chose this hotel was actually very personal. Our 3-year-old daughter is named Amaya, and when we saw the hotel while out for dinner nearby, we decided to extend our stay in Pasikudah instead of travelling on to the hills. We booked easily through Booking.com and left a note explaining this. The team truly made it special for her. A special thank you to Priya, who welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond. She arranged a lovely surprise in the room, including a delicious cake and a thoughtful message for our daughter. It was such a kind gesture and something we will remember for a long time. The hotel itself is large, open, and very well laid out. We stayed in Room 1101 as a family of five, and it was one of the best rooms we could have asked for. The space was impressive, with plenty of room for all of us, lots of storage, and stunning views of the sea, garden, and pool. Waking up to the sunrise from the main bedroom was something special. The bathroom was also spacious, perfect if you enjoy a relaxing soak with a view. The blackout curtains worked well, making the room comfortable and easy to manage for both rest and privacy. We stayed on a half-board basis but also had lunch on arrival as we were able to check in early. The à la carte lunch menu was very good, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice and good quality throughout. The pool and beach were easy to access, and everything felt well organised. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Our teenage son and stepdaughter particularly enjoyed the pool bar and the pool table in the evenings, which added a nice social and relaxed touch to our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience. The service, especially from Priya and the reservations team, truly reflects the warmth Sri Lankan hospitality is known for.
