“Well oppointed clean good value budget hotel.”
Interesting old place being modernised sympathetically. We had an evening meal and breakfast. It would have been better to be told what choice of menu was available. Actually there was no choice but the meal was adequate for us. Breakfast was a selection of pastries, orange juice and coffee or tea. All rather basic but adequate. All very good value for money. Our French is limited so we had a little difficulty with understanding. The staff were keen to please and help. The room was very clean with good fittings. Minimum soap etc provided. We are in our 80s and would have appreciated a more comfortable bed. I guess it is aimed at younger clients. Perhaps we should aim for a more expensive hotel. No complaints.

“Quiet, clean and comfortable accommodation.”
Just outside the town of Parthenay, this Auberge is in a quiet location. The owners were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The little kitchenette (part of the bedroom/living room) was reasonably well-equipped. The owners were happy for me to store my bicycle in one of their storage sheds. Good value for money.

Nice room very clean and comfortable, with good facilities. Ideal for a short stay. Lovely having breakfast outside. Didn't use the restaurant for evening meal or breakfast but the option was there. Nice quiet location.

“Good for an overnight stop and probably a longer stay if you were self catering”
Breakfast was a good standard French style continental. The location was quiet but close to the main road. It is a 20minute walk to the nearest restaurant.

great place, we booked super last minute and the rooms were prepared for us and they even cooked a meal for us.
