“Hard to find a better hotel in Parthenay”

Lovely, modern room and a very helpful and obliging owner who provided a delicious dinner to order despite my being the only customer.

Isabelle the owner was very warm and welcoming. When we arrived on our motorbikes, she came out to advise us to park our bikes in a different part of the parking area which wasn’t visible from the street. We were very happy with her advice and hospitality. We had three rooms which were arranged around a courtyard area. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area and it is within easy walking distance of the old town of Parthenay. The hotel has a restaurant for evening meals. As we only stayed for one night we wanted to walk into town to explore. So, we didn’t get a chance to try the evening meals. When we got back from our walk we sat on the terrace overlooking the pool to enjoy a couple of drinks from the hotel bar. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Host the beautiful Bella was attentive and professional. Very informative about the surrounding area and food on offer in the very nice restaurant. Great wine and beer. Nice swimming pool and patio for a relaxing breakfast each morning . Onsite parking available but limited. However not an issue. Will definitely recommend 😘

I had room 6, and it was pleasant and comfortable. Off street parking for 4 cars, quiet location in easy walking distance to the town center. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. The staff spoke fairly good English. If I travel to Parthenay again, I will definitely stop there.

A lovely small hotel, perfect for a stop off if you are travelling through France. Parthenay is a very interesting ancient town. Well worth a look. The swimming pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The meal in the restaurant was was delicious.
