Hotel is undergoing renovation so is a bit of a mess at the moment. Some rooms are already renovated but missing tables or desks and chairs. I was assured new furniture will be ordered when they finish the work. New beds and bathroom. Wifi worked pretty well and it was important for me, since I was working remotely. New CCTV and systems were put in the corridors and outside. If you visit in 2 months, everything should be nice and shiny. Location is good and bad thing. It's only 5 minutes walking from waterfront, but you have a view towards phone exchange and GSM mast. Maybe they can but some high conifers by the fence to make it a bit nicer. Plenty of parking. Just by the main street. Parry Sound is good place to stop, take a cruise to 30 000 Islands, visit Killbear Provincial Park which is very close. And definitely go to lookout tower in the morning, when sun shines over the town. Great view in fall.

The beds were incredibly comfortable; slept like a log! Staff were very cheery and the new flooring looks great. The property will be very appealing after the renovations.

It was clean, fresh renovation, easy check in, good parking. New fridge, MW, coffee maker, good TV.

The spot in town was perfect for walking around and seeing everything. I really did enjoy the sound of the train on the tracks just beyond the parking lot.

The location of this hotel is very good, walking distance from most of the attractions. You can leave the vehicle parked at the hotel.

Very affordable and decent stay for a quick night or two. Rooms are huge.

Amazing location - everywhere you want to go is within walking distance. Extremely helpful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Room is very spacious and the fridge is larger than many other places I've been. Very hospitable pet policy. Strong (if a little loud) air conditioning (a necessity as it was very hot) This is my third hotel stay in Parry Sound. Each time at a different place. This hotel is now my favourite. I chose it simply because it was the cheapest (cheaper than the other two I stayed at), so my expectations were very low. I was very pleasantly surprised. The pros far outweigh the cons, and the value for money, comparatively speaking, is unbeatable.
