Rachel is an exceptional host who strikes the perfect balance between warmth and privacy, ensuring that all your needs are met. Together with Reyad, she has created a little paradise here. I wish them only the nicest and kindest guests. Silk Cotton Cottages definitely ranks in my top 3 of extraordinary places to stay.

This was really an exceptional experience in Tobago! Of course the location is great - you can easily get to any place of interest on that cost. But you need a good car! And the surroundings, and the design, and the view from the terrace and bath - everything is just perfect! As well as our comfortable cottage- it was especially perfect for us, because we were the only guests at that time and all the beautiful garden, as well as big kitchen and relaxing area was just for two of us. BUT - the biggest win of that place is the hosts! We felt so welcomed as in a family, Rachel did everything to let us feel as at home, at the same time giving us all the privacy we needed. And her great recommendations all over the island helped us so much! She really made our trip as one of the best memories!

We came here for our honeymoon and had a great time. Lovely outdoor/pool area in a quiet, relaxing location. Lots of nice beaches and nature nearby. The hosts were excellent and looked after us really well. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a getaway in Tobago.

Very nice place and location. I like forest and it was very close to the rain forest. I also like birds and there was no shortage of that. Excellent views and Rachel was an excellent host.

Looking for a place to stay in Tobago when it is your first time, might be a little tricky due to the different locations and offers but we were blessed to have found Silk Cotton Cottages (SCC) and we knew we had made the right choice as soon as we arrived and were so welcomed by Rachel. Whilst Crown Point offers more accommodation and a busier Caribbean experience, the SCC offers the true and chilled Caribbean vibe, where life moves at a slower pace and stress doesn't exist.. To make the most of the amazing experience that is to stay at SCC, we would recommend renting a car (Taylor's was easy peasy!) as the cottages are located between Castara (that offers a handful of good restaurants, bars, a beautiful beach and stunning sunsets) and the incredibly beautiful Englishmen's Bay (try Eula's shrimp roti!) and Parlatuvier (a sleeping chilled fishermen village). Staying at SCC was everything we needed/wanted and more - the views are just to die for, the infinity pool is something out of a dream, the birds you can hear and the wildlife you can spot are just amazing, the cottages and small details (as white robes, high quality towels, skin products, all the appliances) bring the luxury to the rain forest - which we didn't think it was possible to achieve to these standards. Congratulations! Rachel is the greatest hostess EVER and will make you feel at home, whilst providing you with all the space you need. She is also a great cook - if you are lucky you will be able to try some of hers' coconut bake :) Look no further and stay here!
