Pousada Porto das Barcas is located 300 metres from Parnaíba’s Historical Centre entrance. It is close to shops, bars and restaurants, and provides simple accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and a breakfast buffet. It is a nice pousada located in the animated heart of Parnaiba. Right outside of the place there are restaurants in the evening, stores and some night life - but the rooms are super quiet. The place is decorated with artisanal and local pieces, which add quite a nice touch to it, giving it personality and vibe. The room is big, with AC, a nice bathroom. Breakfast is simple, but tasty. Staff very kind, helped us organise a few tours on the delta, which are absolutely a must, and called us a cab when we needed to leave.

“Pousada Porto Das Barcas - quick but nice staying”
Gigi (the manager) was so helpful! Unfortunately we arrived in Parnaiba too late to arrange the excursion and Gigi went above and beyond to help us to find any alternative and to arrange the taxi for the day after. So massive thanks to Gigi for the warm welcome and the help. The pousada it’s in a strategic place where everything comes to live in the evening. You have a nice restaurant just in front of the pousada with the river view, and little shops for an evening stroll. The communal area were very welcoming and historic, the room we stayed was very simplistic but it had what we needed. I recommend it for one night in Parnaiba for sure.

The location is perfect! It is in the old port, with restaurants, bars and shops where the night life is. We also arrived in a middle of a folk festival which enriched the experience. The guy at the reception was really nice and waited for us until late because our bus broke down on the way. He also appeared early in the morning to say goodbye, it was 5:30am so it has been extremely nice.

“Great location”
Staff was great, location excellent - the Porto das Barcas is a lively area with music, bars and more. Yet in the rooms it is very quiet. Decoration in common areas is nice and inviting. I would not want to stay somewhere else in Parnaiba.

“Higly recommended place”
The Pousada is located in a touristic area, with restaurants, shops and departures for delta tours (we recommend delta tours. In our case, coming from Atins, we had a Delta tour from Tutoia to Parnaiba.

“Excellent location”
The pousada is in a historic property and located right on the waterfront. Our room was spacious. Excellent value.
