Our ocean view room had one of the best views we've ever experienced in a hotel. The staff were super helpful and gave us an upgrade from one of the darker rooms at the back of the resort. It was just a one night stay but so memorable watching the sun set over the ocean.

Well located for a one night stay on the route from Victoria to Tofino. Upgraded to beachfront suite with kitchenette & fireplace, a really beautiful room with balcony overlooking the stunning beach and Ocean. Also did the Grotto Spa and treetop tapas dining experience, a really unique and delicious experience, booking in advance essential.

I didn’t appreciate that it wasn’t clearly mentioned that the Grotto Spa is an extra cost. At $115 per person, it’s quite expensive, especially for a family, so we decided not to use it. It was advertised as part of the hotel, and I expected it to be included like the other amenities. The regular swimming pool is located in a separate building, and in winter, if you get a room close to the spa (like we did), you have to walk about five minutes to reach it. The pool is also quite small compared to the size of the hotel, which was disappointing. The staff were great, and the room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub inside the room. However, overall, the experience wasn’t worth the price.

The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and met all of our requirements. The sofa/ pull down bed in the lounge area was very comfortable and suitable to be used as additional bed.
