Very nice hotel in a great location, so no complaints. I still think €300 a night plus city tax is too much though, even if it is Paris. Especially as they don’t even provide a bottle of water - and I truly hate pre-stocked fridges! We didn’t have breakfast as they only offered a continental option, and there are many places nearby.

It is more than just a hotel; it is a cozy Parisian home with a rich history. We felt not like guests of the city, but like a part of it. ​The hotel is located at the epicenter of cultural life. The view from the window of the royal church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois and the proximity to the Louvre create an indescribable atmosphere. All the iconic landmarks — Sainte-Chapelle, the Musée d'Orsay, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Seine River, the oldest bridge Pont Neuf, and the Samaritaine concept store — are within walking distance, allowing you to enjoy the city without using transport. ​The interior is thought out to the smallest detail: from the paintings and books in the lobby to the tactile fabric wallpaper. The "classic double" room is a model of exquisite intimacy. Despite its compactness, the ergonomics are flawless: even a tall and broad-shouldered man was absolutely comfortable. The coziness of the space does not come at the expense of comfort, even for statuesque guests. The presence of a modern Japanese hygiene system in the bathroom significantly saves time and maintains an impeccable level of comfort even during the busiest excursion schedule. A clean room and fresh linens are a daily rule of the hotel. ​The staff is the soul of the hotel. We were welcomed like old friends. A warm atmosphere and a unified team spirit permeate the entire hotel — from the ladies at the reception to the technical staff. When such sincere human warmth is hidden behind the facade of a luxurious interior, it is what makes the hotel exceptional. Sincere hospitality reigns here instead of protocol: the service is devoid of stiffness, and you feel not like a client, but like a long-awaited friend.

The location is fantastic if you plan to visit the Louvre, with access to 2 subway stations and plenty of buses. Room was as small as described on the site but it had a comfortable bed, the heating worked really well. Had some coffee options in the room which was nice.

The hotel is in an excellent location and was perfect for the things that we wanted to do and see. It is small, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful, so it feels more personal as a guest. We had a lovely view from our bedroom window over the church next door. At night, with the window open, it was very quiet outside. And with so many nearby cafes, we did not need the breakfast.

Really lovely staff. The room was a good size for a family of 4 with two teenagers (one over 6 foot). Beds were comfortable. Breakfast delivered to the room was great, and did us for two days! The location is superb, right in the middle, near sights, shops and transport.

Relais du Louvre has a fantastic location, within easy walking distance to many of Paris’s main attractions. The hotel itself is lovely, comfortable and well maintained. What really stood out was the amazing and friendly service, the staff were welcoming, helpful and made our stay feel effortless. The hotel is also very close to the metro, which made getting around Paris incredibly convenient. A wonderful place to stay and I would happily return.
