Overview
Set alongside a small private beach on Parea Island, Pension Te Nahetoetoe features Polynesian-style bungalows offering views over a coral reef and the Pacific Ocean. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. Each bungalow features a terrace with outdoor seating. They include a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some also have a well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette with an oven, stove and microwave. Guests have free use of kayaks and the sun loungers on the beach. The dining area serves a variety of Polynesian cuisine. Island tours and scuba diving excursions can be arranged by the tour desk. Te Nahetoetoe is situated 35 km from Faré town, where there are several restaurants and shops. Faré Airport is also 35 km away.

“Secluded and private, a perfect place to enjoy Huahine, relax, and become inspired to write.”
The accommodation was situated right on the water, with the small waves lapping at the beach less than 5 metres from the doorstep. The view of the lagoon, reef, and ocean was amazing, and we could see the islands of Ra’iātea and Taha’a off in the distance with a picture perfect sunset behind them. As a writer, the privacy and lack of distractions was conducive to productivity, and the serene and aesthetically stunning environment enabled us to relax during our stay on the island of Huahine. Our host, Karol, went above and beyond, during any interactions, personally welcoming us on arrival, bringing over fresh fruits directly from her garden, checking in sometimes to make sure we were okay, and gifting us some shell necklaces and black pearls when we were departing. Located close to Baie de Avea, and its crystal clear waters, the swimming and kayaking (kayak available) were amazing. Although there is an insect net above the bed, we had no problems with mosquitoes at all during our stay. The small verandah was a godsend, with a table and two chairs, and was the perfect place to sit and eat, watch the natural beauty and the wildlife (birds, fish and crabs), or to write your novel, memoirs, or thesis (type away on your laptop).

“Best location, authentic stay, friendly host.”
It's a fantastic tahitian style room, with a porch directly at seaside. Might not be for everyone (coral on the floor is uncomfortable), no warm shower, roof was a little leaky, but I absolutely loved it! Fresh flowers and plants in the bathroom. The hosts are friendly and helpful but they speak very little english.
