Unfortunately, I fell into a classic “spiritual trap man” situation. I encountered Terii on the beach, where he began speaking beautifully about spirituality, respect for women, and connection to the land and ancestors. Ironically, when it came to MY BODY, he forgot all about permission. From the first moments I stood next to him (in my bikini), he didn’t ask for permission — not even with his eyes. The next day, I joined him for a paid hike (as I was almost hypnotized by his words — it all sounded fascinating to me. I’m deeply curious about ancestral wisdom, and he noticed that). He is a knowledgeable local guide, very familiar with plants and ancient Polynesian history. I did learn from him, but sadly, I realized too late that he was taking advantage of my curiosity, enthusiasm, and trust by repeatedly touching my body without consent — each time feeling more comfortable, as if he was slowly testing and expanding the limits (all under the guise of energy, connection, spirituality, power, chakras, etc.). This was manipulation. I felt a deep invasion of my personal space. At the end of the hike, in a very important Marae, he crossed clear boundaries — getting way too close and touching me very inappropriately. This is clear HARASSMEMT and ABUSE! SHAME ON YOU, TERII In a sacred place, under the name of spirituality and the “goddess of beauty and love,” energy/mana? Where is your respect for women? For the person standing right next to you, who could be one of your daughters? And after all of that, to ask me if I have a boyfriend? Unbelievable!! Let me tell you something - this is not honour for women; it’s craving for them. It’s LUST. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I’m sick of it. A woman’s body is SACRED, and the most basic act of respect is to ask permission before touching this temple - which belongs to no one but her.

“Perfect place to stay”

This is a fantastic place. Right on the beach.. very calm and picturesque. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen and terrace are great for lounging around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There are great cheap cafes within an easy walking distance. The best part though are the people who run this place. Crystal and Enot are super helpful and make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend

“Quiet place to relax”

Located directly at the beach, you can go snorkeling at the doorstep (with a decent variety of corals and fish). Very friendly and helpful owner. The price is also hard to beat, especially for French Polynesia.

“Best place to stay on Huahine”

Beautiful remote place on the beach. You can rent huts or a tent, hear the sound of the waves, make a walk on the beach, snorkel, swim,... The kitchen is good equipped for cooking, but Christelle also offers delicious dinner. She is so nice and helpful, answers all you questions and e-mails. She will also drive you to a place of interest, supermarket or airport. You can even rent a car that is delivered to the camp site. And not to forget about the 2 cute cats which sleep high up on a board in the kitchen...

Nice and very calm place at the south most point of Huahine. Idylic plages around, decent room and facilities, airport transfer arranged by the hostess Christine, possibility to rent a bicycle or bike nearby - that is I needed and got here.

Very well kept and good for what it is. The owners work hard and look after their guests.

The best is the community of different people and the friendly be together. I loved my stay at this nice place.
