After a bus journey from Rio that arrived after 10pm, over 2 hours late due to traffic, the suite was nice and relaxing. Very spacious set amongst nice grounds. I saw a beautiful red bird while enjoying a lavish breakfast. Caio on reception is a great English speaking Brazilian and was super helpful. I really appreciate the considerable time and effort Caio spent assisting me.

This is a rustic property in a small fishing village but has been upgraded with modern features. great courtyard to eat drink and relax. spacious room with good bathroom instant hot water great Wi-Fi really quiet at night. the staff and location are brilliant 15 minutes max from everywhere. 100% safe

The grounds are really lovely. If you sit at the table just outside, next to the wooden barrier, you can see monkeys while you're eating breakfast. The indoor pool is small but well heated. The rooms themselves are a little small and not really sealed (so you might get a few random bugs - we had a gecko one night!). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 15 min walk to the old town along the river.

“Bedbugs and careless hotel management and customer service”

Our legs have been eaten by bedbugs (see photos, a hundred very itchy bites, in lines, as bedbugs do). We ran away. The management refused to do anything, saying we should have used repellent, which we did, when outside the room. We’ll never set foot in this establishment again.

Very good location, only a short stroll from the historical centre and the beach but still very quiet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The place itself is beautiful and the pools are a big plus.

Lovely location, easy walk to all places in the centre of the town. Individual 2 storey buildings with 4 apts. Set in very picturesque grounds. Lots of facilties, rather like a small resort. Pool, games, lovely sitting areas. Excellent breakfast with good quality and variety of choice. Very helpful friendly staff. Rooms quite spacious though interiors rather outdated. No extras provided. Car parking spaces. Very safe to walk everywhere even late at night in the town. Great overall experience.

Walking distance from the historical centre of Paraty but in a very quiet area. Typical pousada feel, lots of colours, greenery, and a quiet place. The rooms are confortable, and the little private patio is very nice. Nice breakfast.

“Perfect for family”

Nice hotel area with lovely gardens and beautiful houses for the guest rooms. Two great pools - out in the sun and inside a pool house. Calm area, but in short walking distance from village center where there are restaurants, pubs, shops, sights and all we wanted to do and see. Also, Paraty feels - and is - a lot safer than many other places in Brazil.
