Overview
Located 500 metres from Paraty’s Historic Centre, Pousada Banzay provides tastefully styled accommodation with a homey atmosphere, as well as buffet breakfast and free WiFi. Free private parking is also offered. Guests can enjoy the buffet breakfast each morning in the breakfast room. It includes a variety of fresh fruits, breads and cold meats, as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks. “Lovely Pousada so close to bus station.”
Great location, only a few minutes walk from bus station. Close to old town where all the lovely restaurants are. Host cant speak English but he was happy to use google translator to answer any questions. Bed very comfy, fabulous breakfast all made fresh. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paraty. 😍

“The best value stay during our trip”
The room was large, clean, well decorated and the beds were the very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, this was the best value accommodation during our Brazil trip!

The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned. They have a beautiful garden where you have breakfast. The location was great, walking distance to a grocery store and downtown.

“An absolute gem in Paraty”
An absolute gem in Paraty. The hosts are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, the breakfast is to die for, and everything about my stay was perfect. I’m sad to be leaving — it truly felt like a home away from home.

“Good value and quiet”
The whole family is lovely there. Meet Elisa, the owner, Jorge her husband, daughter and great-children. Great people, ready to help with tours and everything else. Their pousada is great value for money. Close to the historical center.

“Fantastic stay- highly recommend!”
This Pousada exceeded our high expectations. We had a wonderful three night stay with the most hospitable hosts. Jorge took us out on his speed boat for the day around the islands and bays of the area. His wife cooks up the most amazing breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The location is great, on a quiet street only a short walk to the old town. Although we didn’t speak Portuguese and they don’t speak English we were able to communicate well and they went above and beyond to help us out- even taking us to the local bus station and helping to book us tickets to our next destination! We highly recommend staying here. We would love to return one day!

“Very nice choice for a stay in Paraty”
We had a wonderful stay. Very nice location close to the old town. Staff is very friendly. Good breakfast with nice options. And there’s a safe a parking for the car.

“Excellent pousada at a central location”
The spacious room, comfortable bed, great shower. The breakfast is simply amazing with home cooked cakes and cheese bread. The location is excellent: near the bus station and the old town of Paraty.

Super nice owners, the room was very clean and secure, wide selection of breakfast, only a 7 minute walk to the old town. We arrived a few hours early and were allowed to get to our room quickly. We didn’t have a car but there seemed to be plenty of good parking spaces.

“Cosy and comfortable”
Friendly staff (even though we spoke no Portuguese and they spoke no English), breakfast, location (10 mins walk to historical centre and very close to the bus stop), triple room was very spacious
