After completing a tour from Argentina to Rio, staying at the Maris was exactly what I needed and exceeded my expectations. It was calm and relaxed, beautifully clean and comfortable. I felt so at home and was so well looked after on the three days I was there. The room was so cosy and the surrounding were just beautiful and charming. A short walk down the river to the town for shopping and dinner. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!! My transport was arranged to and from Rio and the whole experience was seamless, taking away any stress. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay - I wish I’d had more days to stay longer! :)

We loved everything about our stay here. The room was perfect and clean, the breakfast was huge and had varied options. The location was ideal, only a 10/15 minute walk to the old town centre and we were given lots of recommendations of activities for all kinds of weather during our stay. We were also recommended the owners preferred restaurants for during our stay - we ate at 3 of them during our stay and they were our top meals in Brazil so far!

We have just spent 3 perfect nights here in a bungalow. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very private. Breakfast was served outside the room and was fresh and plentiful. The area was really quiet, yet only a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and closest beach. Lilian was really helpful with our very early check out and helped us arrange our transfers from Rio to Paraty and then to São Paulo airport at the end of our stay. We would definitely recommend.

All the experience was excellent and the staff truly care about their guests. The environment is well organized, clean, and everything is very clear and well arranged. The breakfast was delicious and of great quality. The location is close to the town, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. Maris Paraty is like a little oasis in Paraty. The property is very private and although we didn't use the pool it looked very inviting. We stayed in one of the Bungalows which was very clean, comfortable and the terrace was very private. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. All the staff we came across were friendly and nice, attentive but not over bearing. Lilian was very helpful. her communication was excellent. We made a mistake with one of our flights impacting on some transfers she had organised but it was all sorted out and nothing was too much trouble. we weren't able to re-arrange things as we were quite isolated but Lilian took charge and organised everything, thank you. I would very much recommend staying here. It was a short walk to the Old Town and the beach and for us the location was perfect. We stayed here for a treat at the end of our trip and it was most certainly that. Thank you to all the staff at Maris Paraty for making our stay so fantastic.

“Lovely stay in Paraty”

Great place to stay. The bed was big and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast in the morning was great and all locally sourced. 10-15 minute walk to the old town. Pool area was lovely.

The property matches the beautiful pictures in booking.com the location was ideal for us, a 15 minute walk to the old town centre which is full of bars and restaurants. We used a few of the boat tours recommended and I can thoroughly recommend Paraty Tours services. The wonderful owner looks after you brilliant helping you book services and give advice. The pool is lovely and clean and cool with plenty of seating and recliners around. We booked a bungalow so got an allocated parking spot on the grounds behind a security electric gate. Breakfast is brought to your bungalow table and is immense amounts of food. You don’t go hungry! A small minibar with reasonable prices is available with beers, cokes and other drinks and snacks.

Gorgeous private bungalows in a good location, close proximity to the old town. Clean and well equipped, we particularly enjoyed the breakfast our own private patio in the mornings

We had a great stay at Maris Paraty! The property was beautiful and well looked after, with modern finishing and high quality toiletries. The staff really stood out - everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the management team put extra care into making sure we had all the relevant information about the key tourist activities. The breakfast service was delicious and very well presented which was a great start to the morning. Beautiful place would recommend it for any friends, family, or couples looking for a relaxing spot in Paraty which is also close to the action!
