We enjoyed everything - from breakfast, through the location near an amazing beach, to cozy ambience of the Pousada. Special shoutout goes to the receptionist Ilana, who was extremely attentive and spoke perfect English!

“Lovely relaxing hotel but make sure you book a pool view room.”
The garden and pool were lovely , and really well maintained. Public area were very good with lots of places to sit and relax. Staff were exceptional. Especially reception who were so helpful and a number spoke English. Cleaning staff were also really friendly and are very high standard. The breakfast was one of the best we had in South America although the only hotel I have ever been where they have no black tea at all. Lovely bathroom and room decor. Air conditioning and fan. 15 minute walk to the main town. Some restaurants in the little village within a couple of minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Estrela do Mar! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ilana, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home and gave us great tips about the area. The atmosphere of the pousada is cozy and relaxing, and everything was clean and well taken care of. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The rooms were small but clean and had space to hang clothes. The WiFi was great and the breakfast was also really good! It's over the bridge from the main town but not far to walk at all. Would highly recommend a stay here!

The fruit at breakfast was wonderful and the juices were definitely freshly squeezed and not out of a carton.
