Featuring 2 outdoor pools an aqua park and an indoor pool, the 4-star Mayfair Hotel formerly Smartline Paphos is set in the centre of Paphos City. Providing a wide range of amenities, the hotel is situated in a quiet part of Paphos, just a 15-minute walk from Kato Paphos Harbor and 900 meters from the nearest beach. “Not a 4 star.”
We arrived from Agia Napa, also stayed in a 4 star hotel and the difference between the 2 is huge. Mayfair were packed, I understand it’s half term but it felt like they have more rooms than table in the canteen. It was a canteen, felt like a camp. I liked the plants, garden area. And the cleaning/reception staff were nice.

We passed the pool on our way for breakfast at 7:00 and all the sun beds were already “reserved” with towels.

“It's alright”

The food at breakfast could be more varied. It was a bit boring that it was always just eggs with eggs but that's not offensive, just an observation, but everything was great.

The property is very nice, located in a quiet area, about 25 minutes from the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the service is impeccable, courteous, and friendly. The food is very good and varied, although the all-inclusive beverage selection is limited, but you can find better options. The restaurant is always busy in the evenings, offering a variety of activities. The rooms are large and very clean, and the housekeeping staff are excellent; special thanks to the cleaning ladies. My only complaint is the limited daytime activities by the pool. I was there in April, so that might be the reason. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and variety of dishes, so everyone could find something to enjoy. The location was average; there wasn't much to see in the area, and getting to the attractions took about a half-hour walk. Despite this, it was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. I recommend this property and thank you for a pleasant stay.
