“An Exceptional Stay with a Wonderful Host”

This was our second stay at this place and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The owner is truly amazing—warm, kind, and incredibly welcoming. She greeted us and said goodbye as if we were family, and even provided airport transfers, picking us up and dropping us off, which we deeply appreciated. The apartment is extremely comfortable, even for a longer stay. We were only passing through, but it would be a perfect place to stay for an extended holiday. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning ensured a great night's sleep. The kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy for anyone who wants to cook. The bathroom had everything needed, including soaps, shampoos, a hairdryer, and beautifully white, fresh-smelling towels that felt truly hotel-quality. We really value this level of cleanliness and freshness—it makes a big difference in comfort. The balcony offers a wonderful view, and the small table and chairs make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Wonderful place with outstanding accommodations. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the living room featured a convenient sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with hot water and a selection of shampoos provided. We also appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water in the kitchen. What truly made our stay special was the owner. She is a lovely, warm, and genuinely caring person who treated us like close friends rather than guests. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel completely at home. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning next week with great pleasure. Highly recommended!

Heiata has made a most comfortable and cosy place to stay in Tahiti. And she is a most welcoming and thoughtful host. There is a very comfortable lounge with a terrace with lovely mountain views. There is auseful kitchen with oven and stove. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is air-conditioned which is appreciated with the heat and humidity. The bathroom is spacious. Everything is pristinely clean. And there's even the convenience of a washing machine just outside the apartment, and a clothes line on the terrace. It's so nice to have the comforts and conveniences of a small apartment, rather than be crammed in a bland and pokey hotel room. For someone who doesn't mind walking, it's located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, and in about 15 minutes you're at the waterfront. The apartment is located on a steep hill so be prepared to walk back up or take a taxi...

“A perfect and central home to enjoy Tahiti”

You had all the amenities that you would need. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely view. The kitchen and lounge were a great addition. Everything was very clean. You are a 10 min walk into town. The property sits on an incline which gives you lovely views over the mountains. Heiata (our host) has thought of everything to ensure you have a comfortable stay. And finally, Heiata and her husband are the kindest and most thoughtful hosts who genuinely care and want you to have a wonderful stay and enjoy the beautiful island life too.

The host was super friendly and accommodating, the views are spectacular, the place is roomy and comfortable. I would stay here again!

We booked Heiata's place for the day as we had a 3am departure home. Heiata communicated with us offering to pick us up from the port and take us to her apartment. She let us check in from 10am instead of 2-3pm which we much appreciated. The place is immaculately clean and very well organised with instructions on how everything worked. There was chilled water in the fridge and the basics required for tea/coffee and also some basic ingredients in the fridge and cupboard which you might need. The place was very quiet and peaceful. We would defininely stay again.

“Three-night stay in Papeete”

The apartment was very spacious, and included a balcony with beautiful views. Very well equipped kitchen with massive fridge. Location is excellent, very quiet neighbourhood while being in walking distance from Papeete city center. Also bus stop in 10 min walking distance with connections to all around the island of Tahiti. Private parking also included.

“Most enjoyable.”

There was no breakfast provided, but there were coffee, tea and water available. We had trouble finding a taxi to take us to the property as they said it was a dangerous road. We didn't understand this as, although steep, it was a properly surfaced road. We had no problem walking up it once our luggage was in the apartment. Heiata was lovely and very welcoming. She even got up to see us off when we left at 3.30 am! As all the tours we tried to book were full she recommended us to a friend who took us on a full-day tour for less than a tour company would have charged and included snacks and a lovely lunch. We covered much of the island, both Tahiti Nui and Iti, and Leonie gave us plenty of information and pointed out buildings and sites of interest, including the Olympic Village and the Fern Grotto.

Fantastic property and host. I rated this property with 10s because it exceeded our expectations for everything we needed for a night in Papeete. The host/owner was so helpful, picking us up at the airport and immediately answering questions via Whats App and giving us advice about cell phone service. She arranged taxis for us also. The apartment was well laid out, roomy, clean and comfortable. This lodge is not a resort; it is an apartment that makes for a very comfortable stay in Papeete located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops.

Great place in easy walking distance to central Papeete, but off the main traffic - very welcoming host.

The lodge was spacious with a lovely view of the mountains. Coming from a much cooler climate we appreciated that the air conditioning in the bedroom worked great!! Heiata was so lovely, making sure we had all we needed. Thank you so much!

Owner is very polite and kind. Room is very clean, everything is good for us.
