“Lovely Lodge - host welcoming and accommodating”

Was in a good location (for the golf course) next to a beach and easy to find. Lodge was well stocked, everything you could possibly need and the food provided by the host for evening meal was amazing, beautifully cooked and so tasty. Breakfast provided was minimal but additions available at a cost. Host was welcoming and happy to help with anything.

“A wonderful and special place”

The bungalow is very spacious and has everything your heart desires. It is well worth taking some time here, as there is an incredible amount to see and discover. The hosts provide very good and detailed information about everything. Right next door are temple ruins (Marae Maha'iatea) and a great bathing spring (Source Vaima) with beautiful eels. We ate very well, Lovina cooked fish and once, at the suggestion of the hosts, we went to the food truck (O Taharu'u) – both were excellent and wonderfully fresh. Another highlight was the canoe/snorkelling tour with Alexy in a Tahitian canoe (Va'a) with blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays and many other amazing sightings. The reef right in front of the lodge is also very beautiful and can be snorkelled directly from the beach and watching the sunset at the beach is a wonderful end of any day.

Very good room. Breakfast vas very Good. The dinner was Super. Near the Beach white the Black sand. The Host family was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay with Alex and Lovina. The location is perfect, only 50 m from a beautiful beach with an amazing coral reef and the best snorkeling we experienced in all of French Polynesia so far. The accommodation was comfortable and well set up. Alex was an incredibly thoughtful host. After I accidentally forgot my speaker, he arranged for his daughter to deliver it to our next hotel over an hour away, which we truly appreciated. This is a special place that exceeded our expectations, and we’ll take away wonderful memories.

The place was absolutely fantastic and Alex and Lovina are the best hosts ever! Our studio had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The lagoon right off the back of the property was spectacular for snorkeling...healthy reef and teeming with aquatic life! Alex took us out to the deeper part of the lagoon for amazing snorkeling...his knowledge of the area and the aquatic life was wonderful. We are so grateful to them for such a great vacation. We would definitely stay there again.

Alexy and Lovina were very nice. They seem to be passionate about what they do and try to make your stay as perfect as possible. We appreciate they recommended us a morning snorkel at their beach and gave us some equipment and advise for it.

“Brilliant Snorkelling”

Great spot for snorkelling and swimming, the strong current close to shore make for good training sessions, but might be a problem for young children.

“Very nice beachfront place”

Beautiful location - just at the beach with a beautiful reef for snorkeling - one of the best I've seen around French Polynesia, even better than some around Tuamotus. Otherwise a nice chill atmosphere with a nice common area and beachfront. Free fins for snorkeling. Also a wide variety of rental gear for surfing or SUPing.

“Great stay relaxing place- need a car to explore though”

location was wonderful, right on the beach, lots of sunshine and snorkling

fantastic black sand beachfront property! We had some great snorkelling with v good visibility. It was close enough to bus down to see the surf champs at Teahupo'o. 700metres away is a supermarket and a restaurant. Merci beaucoup.

“Comfortable, homely”

Lovina and Alexy are welcoming, friendly hosts. Lovina's a great cook - I highly recommend you have dinner at least once. Manomano's location on the beach is stunning. The bed was comfortable and the aircon made sleeping through the night easy.

“Beautiful location with amazing hospitality”

Incredible location right on the beach with the most amazing coral garden to explore. Alexy will take you on a tour to see the best bits of the reef where you can see schools of fish, sharks and turtles. Old school friendly hospitality. Something that is often lost in travel now was so refreshing to feel.

Everything was excellent. The owner welcomed us in a very warm and friendly manner, was always available, and provided us with every possible service. Additionally, we had dinner with him and his wife, which was an excellent experience. The food was of outstanding quality, all organic and fresh. The service was top-notch. The house was cozy, clean, and equipped with every amenity. He assisted us until the very end in an outstanding way. Highly recommended!

The hosts are very friendly. The property is right next to the beach and you can snorkel just in front. There is a supermarket in walking distance.

Really friendly owner, right on the lagoon, beautiful snorkelling on site, close to the surf break

Very helpful couple who own and run Manomano. Excellent meals, including super fresh fish and local vegetables such as breadfruit, taro root and plantain. The late check out and taxi for my midnight departure all sorted with a smile.

Great snorkeling right from the beach at the lodge. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. The owners were helpful and friendly! We would stay here again.
