“Fabulous!”
Everything! Bernie and his wife are perfect hosts. Fabulous old rustic farmhouse in idyllic rural setting with stunning views out to the hills. Cold beer on arrival and great pool. Evening dinner was home cooked, tasty and great value. Great local wine was exceptional value. Totally recommended.

The location was spectacular and Casa dos Muros itself is a fascinating labyrinthine building that feels very ancient. The huge wood fired bread oven was extraordinary. The bread delicious. Reggie (please excuse spelling) was the most friendly charming person. There is a simple but beautifully cooked simple meal in the evening. We're vegetarian and Reggie swiftly adapted for us and made a wonderful 'huevos revueltos de setas'. This place is for you if you want a genuinely interesting experience with a lovely warm atmosphere.
