We were upgraded to the GRAN HOTEL (not the Continental Hotel). The Gran Hotel was a great discovery. We had a memorable weekend that I hope to repeat someday.

In the most stunning setting the hotel and spa have so much potential to be An amazing hotel however everything requires upgrading without spoiling the character that it holds. Spa outside pool area just breathtaking. Staff could have been friendlier, breakfast very budget and food not replenished, staff could not wait to tidy up- food was poor-dinner the first night was dreadful so we ate at lunch the next day Which was slightly better -the Italian restaurant was EXCELLENT! We work in Hosteleria -if only we could give this Hotel & Spa the love it deserves. Would return for the Spa.
