great location I would recommend riyaz 5 star hotel for happy hour 5-7 two for one close by Coffeehouse across the road good breakfast Very easy to get grab and only 5myr local

It's a family run organisation & they are so all so sweet from the elders to the daughters. They just can't do enough for you & are very helpful especially the two ladies at the reception. Mopeds available for rental & a cafe opposite the building is great too. A small shop right outside the chalet & turn left a 2 minute walk away Mohammed who study in Glasgow in 96 has a wee cafe for local food & drinks. Hes a lovely fella

This was an amazing stay. Quiet, clean and with everything you need. Lovely big bungalow, it was home from home!! The staff were friendly, the pool was lovely. Launderette on site, you need 6 single ringitts to buy a token, powder already inside. Free tea and coffee, water cooler. We went to the Roti place for breakfast, tasty, good value, fun and friendly!! For sunsets and daytime beach watching, we enjoyed Hidden Langkawi 20 mins walk. We also did the Junglewala mangrove cruise, excellent informative cruise. Good ethical company. There is a hidden cafe and spa next door to the Nutshell which we didn't explore and a good value food place 5 mins walk on the otherside of the road. I didn't want to leave Langkawi or the Nutshell Chalet. Great location, in amongst the locals yet near to the busy area if that is what you prefer. Easy to get a grab. Roomy for 2 people, nice big bathroom.
