“View from balcony worth visiting alone.... the sunset was the best I've ever seen”

We booked this property as a forced layover and although it was rated 9.6 I was not expecting much. Yet, it is hard to explain in words but upon entering the accomadation, which is very modern and fashionable', we saw the view from the balcony of the rice fields and it took our breath away... it is literally worth paying for a night just to see this and watch the sunset. Room really big, clean and modern. Hosts are also some of the nicest hosts we've had the pleasure of meeting. I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone else but from someone who's travelled Asia for 5 months, this accom is up there in places We've stayed. I would share the picture of the sunrise but wouldn't want to spoil it for you!

One of the best stays of our lives. The property is very nice and clean, with a great café area. It is located among rice fields, so if you are looking for a chill and cozy stay on the island of Langkawi, look no further. The owner, Sulaiman, is one of the kindest people we have ever met. He organized a scooter rental for us at a good and reasonable price. On our last day, when we were leaving LamanLeman Stay, he even offered—and later did—take us to the harbor for the continuation of our trip. Not to mention, he even invited us to a family dinner one evening.

Some places are nice to stay in. And then there are places like this, places that stay in your heart long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel like a guest, but like someone being welcomed into a home. The hosts have a kindness that is difficult to put into words: generous, warm, and genuinely caring. Their flexibility and attention made every moment of the stay feel effortless and special. The room was beautiful in its simplicity, perfectly in harmony with the surrounding nature. Everything was comfortable: the bed, the lovely bathroom, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. My favorite place was the balcony overlooking the rice fields peaceful, quiet, and almost meditative. There is also a covered swimming pool, which is perfect for cooling down without the sun directly overhead. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference on warm days. Another thing I truly appreciated was being able to rent a scooter directly on site, at a very good price. It made exploring the area incredibly easy. I originally planned to stay only a few days, but I extended my stay because leaving simply didn’t feel right. One of the most touching moments of my trip was being invited to share iftar, the breaking of the fast, with the hosts, their friends, and their loved ones. Being welcomed into such a meaningful and intimate moment was deeply moving. When the time finally came to leave, it was unexpectedly emotional. I even had tears in my eyes in the taxi. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and warmth. This was not just a stay, it was a beautiful human experience that I will carry with me for a long time.

It was a great two night stay on last 21-23 December last year. I couldn’t find anything that i don’t find like about this amazing place. The location is so strategic, which is close to the airport and attractions. It has one of most beautiful views of sunrise and sunset you may get in Langkawi. I enjoyed listening to the sound of birds chirping and birds watching from my room balcony overlooking paddy fields throughout my stay. My husband and my son had fun time fishing near the paddy field too in the morning and in the evening. Great hospitality by Sulaiman and Julita with his cute little son, Aldrie had made us feel at home. Though it’s been almost a month, the beautiful memories are still fresh as it’s definitely not just another stay in Langkawi for me.

We loved everything about the property. From the view to the room and the amazing hosts. The village was magnificent. The location was perfect. Not too far and the airport was nearby. Don’t give this place a miss.

Excellent choice for travellers who are looking for a quaint getaway. Located 10 mins from the Airport, surrounded by paddy fields and nature, you will feel at peace. The hosts Sulaiman and Family are so hospitable and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If I'm ever back to Langkawi, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and close to the airport great for an early flight. Not a complaint or problem for me but as it’s in a rice field there were a few big bugs, so if that’s not your thing avoid.
