“Nice clean hotel & lovely people”

A great little hotel hidden (almost) in the jungle. Nice simple rooms and very clean, in the trees just outside of the hotel you can see monkeys and all kinds of animals (from a safe distance). A big thank you to the lovely owners Zairul & Johnny aswell as staff Emma, they all went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible, great to meet such very kind people. I am looking forward to come back for a second visit.

“kampung feel and amazing stay, surrounded with nature”

a amazing stay in kampung feel surrounded with nature. room was basic and had all that was needed. it opens to the place pool, surrounding green and nature. we saw langors resting in trees, a large squirrel eating a fruit, a tokay gecko making loud noises near our room and a couple of red wattled lapwings! it was so cool waking up to in morning to calls of animals. the main house has open kitchen where you can sit to eat/read, play darts and make ur own coffees. Emma is our caretaker who are provided excellent service! though breakfast only started at 9am, and we had to leave at 845am, she cooked breakfast and made sure she tended to our breakfast properly! she also answered all questions quickly and provided extra pillows which i needed for my bad back. coming into main house from outside felt like coming home to meet our parents. it stood two storeys high with a open air ground floor much like yesteryears kampung houses. it was so beautiful! the small good roads leading to the place showed off kampung scenes with cows grazing, egrets in fields, passing by quiet houses, tall trees and tall grass .. felt like the place beckoned lovingly to make us feel like family. it was a awesome 3 days 2 nights stay!

It was away from the tourist strip of the beach but only a ten minute drive I loved the tranquility it was surrounded by nature along country lanes. Emma the manager of the resort was the kindest host one could wish to meet she was so helpful and a good chef too breakfast was so nice I’m a vegetarian and she prepared food for me each day

Staff is really nice. Emma is really helpful. Breakfast is from 8-11, not too many options but delicious enough. The hotel is located within the forest, feel like a big hug to the nature. A car is need since it's a bit far away

Truly SOUND OF NATURE. BOND with Nature... Surrounded with fresh morning air which we could hardly get in SG. Encompasses with the upmost hospitality from Owner Johnny (Tok Putih) & Zairul and their staff esp Eima & daughters. Simple but delicious traditional breakfasts. Serene sound of Azan & Quran recitations esp during dusks elevates us spiritually throughout our 5days. Isolated from public hence hardly heard any moving vehicles or deafening noises from crowds/Pubs etc but once reaching the main road, you could easily find all kinds of stall alongside including barber, apparels, gadgets, vapes foodstalls etc. Very well maintained greeneries. Air Con, ceiling fan, fridge & water pressure operating well. Abundance of socket oulets. Super strong & FAST Wifi signals. 24hr pantry is an added plus point. Availability of microwave, toaster & filtered drinking water dispenser. The idea of fridge located outside room is unique. It makes one the need to get up & walk to reach for cold drinks instead of easily reached within a room like hotels did. The fresh natural water flowing in the nearby earthed canal adds the ambience of bonding with NATURE. I even took dips in the canal. Only if steps provided so guest could sit & dip their feet to enjoy the water flow. Surprisingly, non bothers about any mosquito bites throughout our stays. Words couldnt describe our experiences staying at HujungKampung.

Excellent value for money but keep in mind that a car is needed as local taxi drivers hardly take orders to this place. Breakfast is lovely and the hosts are just superb.

Lovely environment, very friendly and helpful staff, 5 star breakfast. The room is very tidy and spacious. The pool is lovely and 24/24 available. You are truly surrounded by nature.

We must thank Emma for making our stay so pleasant. Also like to thank her for getting up early to make breakfast as we had an early flight. Also her breakfast selection has many options and anything Emma made herself was delicious. The gardens were well maintained

This place is just amazing. It’s quiet getaway from city. The breakfast was so good and the staff were just so nice to us and very helpful. Only thing to pay attention is that you will need to rent a car or scooter, because many taxis don’t want to drive there and they will cancel your bookings. They only want to drive at the main roads..we didn’t really mind it because we were driving ourself, but if you have to go with crab to somewhere by clock, keep in mind to book advance, or else you will be late. Overall we just loved it. Quiet qetaway.

A beautiful setting where you will see an abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat. The friendly and helpful staff added to the enjoyment and tranquility of our stay. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is a great place to spend time and listen to the sounds of nature. Breakfast is delightful and we were very impressed and happy how our dietary requirements were listened to and catered for. Breakfast also starts at 9am, so a nice relaxed morning is encouraged. The location, for us, was excellent. The beach is about 15 minutes away by scooter. Exploring the local village by day or evening also offers another relaxing activity. For the hospitality and relaxing stay, we would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

it was a lovely stay in the countryside - very quiet and relaxing. everyone who worked there was so kind and welcoming. the breakfast was so delicious too!
