We had the best time at Villa Idealia. We were met on arrival by the owner’s mother, Katerina, who is the friendliest lady ever and lives next door. Over the week she brought some delicious homemade goodies and was always available, but never intrusive. The house was spotless and well protected with insect screens, albeit we didn’t have any problems with mossies/wasps. The pool is beautiful, lots of loungers and shade options, and the location great. A private narrow road to access, but fairly quiet so we never had any problems and there is plenty of parking. Beautiful views and very quiet even though you are not far from Panormos and lovely beaches. Don’t hesitate - it’s great!

We kept our promise and after five years we came back at Villa Idealia. What can we say about this Villa that we have not already said in our previous review?? Just perfect! Five years later we found a new beautifully paved road leading to the Villa, curtains in the rooms, new umbrellas and a large swing around the pool and an even bigger comfortable parking area. Ιt is obvious that the owners take care of the last detail and are interested in the total satisfaction of their guests. We hope that in the coming years, when we will definitely come again, another new Villa has been built so that we don't have to struggle so much to find availability! Thank you for everything !

This is a delightful villa in a superb location, set amongst olive groves and pine trees which cascade down towards the sea. The villa itself is superbly well appointed with high quality amenities and finish, well beyond its price bracket. Because of its elevated position high above the small beach resort of Panormos, not only does it benefit from beautiful views, but from the gentle sea breezes which cool the intense heat. The charming and generous owner made our stay wonderful and she brought freshly homemade Greek delicacies every morning. This is a fabulous place to stay and I would highly recommend. Other impressive features: WiFi, Yamaha TV and sound system, fresh linens, very comfortable I beds throughout, well appointed bathrooms and an immaculately maintained swimming pool cleaned every morning. Brand new asphalted access road to the property makes access from the main coast road very straightforward. The donkey tracks which wind up into the hills behind make perfect evening walks, opening vistas which reminded me of unspoilt areas of rural Provence. A perfect holiday destination. 10/10 form this family of 5. Our thanks to the owners for making our short time at Villa Idealia so perfect.

“Villa Idealia - ideal for a reason”

We spend a week in this beautiful villa to escape the city life and it was the perfect choice. The house is situated on an hill above Panormos beach with a newly paved road leading to it. The view is absolutely breathtaking, we already miss waking up to it. The house itself is beautiful, spacious and very clean and the pool area fantastic. In the house there’s every amenity you could wish for. The host family are the most welcoming and friendly and we loved being looked after by Katerina who spoiled us with some home made treats. We will definitely go back!

Villa Idealia was stunning. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Mrs. Katerina was very sweet and kind and provided us with lots of delicious food and snacks. It was not necessary for her to work so hard for us, but we appreciated it very much. It was like we had our own "yiayia" during our stay at Villa Idealia!

The villa is immaculate! The hosts have thought of everything to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. The friendly, helpful contact, by message at the point of booking, and in person on arrival made us feel very welcome. The beautiful pool was cleaned every day and the view really is stunning. Lovely touches, such as Greek delicacies from Katriona and essential supplies on arrival made the stay really special. You definitely need to hire a car to get to and from the villa, but this is really helpful anyway to explore the island. This was a perfect place for our family to spend time together in really beautiful surroundings.

We loved the hosts and personal touches such as delivery of traditional breakfasts. Location was amazing and view was stunning. Communication was exemplary from booking throughout stay and felt very supported.

Villa Idealia surpassed our high expectations. Before arriving at the villa, Afroditi answered all our questions promptly and gave us great advice on restaurants, etc. We were met at the port to be shown to the villa and received such a warm welcome, with a basket of food and olive oil from the olive trees in the garden. The hospitality did not stop there as Katarina kindly brought us home cooked food most mornings and Stathis bringing us a cake from Athens, which we have not experienced in other rental villas. The villa was spotlessly clean, even being cleaned mid week, with fresh linen and towels, and well furnished. The pool is huge and cleaned daily. There is the most amazing view from the villa, which the photos on the website do not give justice to and it is in a tranquil location. Katarina, Aforditi and Stathis have thought of every detail to create the perfect holiday rental, which is also good value for money.

“Incredible stay in Skopelos!”

We just got back from an INCREDIBLE stay in Skopelos ! By far the best Booking experience I've had to date! The Villa - is BEAUTIFUL, you won't want to leave. The biggest highlight was the pool/view area for sure, which became a bit like a second home. The villa itself is incredibly spacious, both in and outside - and feels very private. An amazing experience! The Villa is beautiful just like the pictures and has everything you could possibly want. I would highly recommend the Villa and beyond that the service is second to none. The location was wonderful. 7/8 min from Panormos , 15-20 min from the town and max 15 min from any good beach . What made this stay most magical was Afroditi our host - she was wonderful. She was wonderfully helpful, great with communication, quick to solve any challenge we had, and make the trip truly seamless. This was my first experience with a super host and it was worth it! Thank you for a great stay!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the villa Idealia . Plenty of space to come together for drinks/dinner, but also big enough to have some quiet time when required. The pool and terrace are excellent, and the view over Panormos is terrific. The villa is only a 8 min drive distance to Panormos beach, and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink. The Villa is absolutely beautiful, perfectly comfortable and decorated. Decor looks like out of a magazine. Beds were perfect. We were so glad to have an outdoor spot for dinner! Afroditi was really responsive to all our questions, gave us great recommendations and even made some reservations for us. She had also left a big welcome gift for us (wine , beers , cookies , etc) which was a super nice gesture. Super responsive to any of our requests and/or questions both before and after arrival to the villa. Amazing vacation. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to retreat from the action that Skopelos offer. My only regret is that we wish we had a few more days. Will hopefully be back to Skopelos some day. Thank you
