Nice and quite hostel

Amazing hostel, nice location and there are always a lot of travellers passing by. If you are planning to go to the seven lakes it’s very likely you’ll find other people so you can share a car to the lakes, stay overnight at the guesthouse. The hostel also lets you leave your things if you’re leaving and then come back.

- dorm bunks with curtain, light, power, lockers - kitchen good - common spaces are either kitchen or outside - location ok, 10 min walk to town - shared taxis to samarkand at that street; for Dushanbe/Khujand take mashrutka 1 to wagzal, then shared taxi - hostel arranges 7 lakes driver for 800somoni car

Very nice location and the staff was super nice to the owner is really welcoming and kind. Ready to arrange anything for you. There is a kitchen available and the bed were comfortable.

Very comfy hostel with English and Russian speaking owners who can give you a lot of advice and info about the area. I felt great here and really enjoyed lazy evenings in the yard. Recommended!

“Getaway City”

The owner was nice to let me stay even if I arrived early as the check in time was. I saw a nice book ,,the tenant" so I had a good time passing the scorching heat day. Few meters is the main road which gives enough small restaurants. Where the locals go, I went so I had a good time. Panjakent is a small getaway City so it was a good experience. Toilet and bathroom are separated and has enough place for everybody.

The atmosphere was great with all the other travellers. Kitchen facilities were very good and the family as so helpful and efficient! And I love the cats!!

Friendly owner who can give useful tips and even arrange tours. I paid 110 som for one night, which is fair. It’s a decent place to meet other backpackers, Overall, I’d recommend it for a short stay, especially if you’re just passing through.

Great location in Panjakent, and the staff was great in explaining us what the options were to hike around. There is also a garden to hang out which is great. All for a reasonable price.

Fabulous little hostel right in the centre of Panjakent. We managed to organise our OVIR/GBAO registration, money and sim cards before moving on to the mountains. The staff go above and beyond to help you and great place to meet other travellers. Recommend walking up to the ruins over sunset.
