Extraordinary location with great flair, perfect starting point for Rila lakes and mountains, very friendly staff and delicious food

“Gorgeous common areas in a beautiful nature area”

Beautiful common areas, complete with a toasty warm restaurant where we had dinner, as well as hot tubs and a sauna! The staff were so friendly despite not speaking English, and we were very comfortable in our room. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.

This is a really impressive place - high quality accommodation and friendly ownership. We had an excellent dinner. The location is perfect for access to the Rila Lakes.

The Algara Hut is fantastic. The room, the surrounding area, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (we arrived after 10 p.m. and they still made us dinner!). They were always kind and helpful. Even though they spoke little English, they made every effort to help us understand everything. It's close to the cable car that takes you up to Rila Mountain to the beautiful Rila Lakes trekking. Breakfast is served individually and we always find it delicious.

Nice location, clean room. The place is decorated as a hunting/sky lodge.

The location and the accommodation are fantastic! Very cozy and friendly enviroment!Everything is very well taken care of, clean, and everything we tried at the restaurant was delicious. The room was beautiful and perfectly matched the theme of the accommodation. The staff were very kind and always smiling.Apart from small details, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back, just a little more prepared next time.

The room is clean. The location is in a beautiful wooded area. Nice courtyard. Close to the cable car to the Seven Lakes. Very nice staff. Good breakfast.

Absolutely amazing location,among the trees,very beautiful and clever design,cosy rooms,comfortable beds,luxury pillows and mattresses,amazing,tasty food.The staff are really polite,professional and really friendly.I definitely recommend it to everyone and can't wait to visit again.The best place near the Rila lakes.

“Pretty location, unpractical small room”

The place is nice, new and we'll maintained. As people mentioned before, the room we had was extremely small nearly enough to accommodate an open suitcase on the floor, let alone walk around next to it. The shower has a transparent door that doesn't shut completely. No shower curtain so the floor gets wet when you shower. Wifi didn't reach the room. The team doesn't speak a word(!) of English, in our experience. Nothing of the above is too bad but for the room size. Just know what to expect.

Wonderfully prepared breakfast, every day something else, dinner tasty, healthy and very affordable. Very kind staff and clean, nicely furnished rooms, cozy beds and nice location.
