Clean, modern hotel, in a quiet rural location away from the more hectic Alona beach area. Very helpful grounds/cleaning staff. Dinners were simple but tasty. Breakfast a little pricey but there’s no alternatives in the area to eat/drink so that’s understandable. Although quite out of the way it was easy to get a tuk tuk to the busier areas. Good value

“Little gem in Panglao”

A lovely family run Inn away from the hustle of Alona Beach made for a perfect stay on Panglao for us. Many thanks to Frank. Chie, Sarah, Erica and John for looking after us so well during our stay. We enjoyed the comfortable room, pool, cocktails and lovely food (both at breakfast and dinner). The airport pick up was also much appreciated. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The reliable tuk tuk service was great if we needed to go into town. The inn can arrange trips and mopeds for hire.

First and foremost the proprietors and their staff are the exceptionally welcoming. They warmly greet guests and take care of everyone like they are honored family members. Frank waelcomes guests at the airport and Chai ensures all of the details of our accommodations are taken care of, their staff is attentive and courteous, and guest-centered. We appreciated their recommendations for yours and transportation. They gained our trust as a local point of reference who we could turn to for helping plan our itinerary , where to go, and how to get a there. Their team’s outstanding care is what makes Thistle Inn a jewel We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay at Thistle Inn. Locally owned restaurant, boutique-style, with a welcome balance of high end resort and Filipino charm. The property has a pool with a well manicured garden. They prepare freshly made food onsite and make fresh fruit beverages. The menu has limited but well-rounded with both Filipino and western cuisine that are presented beautifully and taste delicious. Our room accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Everyone in our multi-generational party remarked on the high quality of the beds.

It was a short stop but very beautiful place to stay. Quiet and calm, everything was good. Thanks Chai and Franck, Chowbi and Jean for welcoming.

A beautiful property with a relaxing atmosphere and all the amenities we needed. The staff were lovely and always very helpful. The food was also delicious and a very comfortable environment overall. Drivers were always available and motorbikes were available for use. We also were able to book all of our tours with the front desk which made our trip run very smoothly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly/quieter accommodation!

Well equipped hotel room with very comfortable furniture in private and peaceful location. Clean and spacious swimming pool as well as access to Momo beach within a 15 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and hotel services are carried out professionally to a high standard.

The staff was very helpful. We had a short stay as we planned to take a ferry to Oslob. They assisted and made the process extremely smooth.

“Excellent accomodation in the midst of Daius Bohol”

I really like the very accomodating staff who listens to all of our concerns. The owner is also the one who even greeted us at the airport and the one who also drove us back. I got injured in our trip and the staff was provided a first aid kit. Overall our stay is excellent and beyond my expectation. We enjoyed every second or our stay. Thank you very much for a very wonderful experience.
