Overview
Featuring a large outdoor swimming pool, Panglao Chocolate Hills Resort is located within a convenient 7-minute walk to the famous White Beach and 5 km to Alona Beach. Free Wi-Fi access is available in its public areas and parking is provided on site. Fitted with tiled/wooden flooring, comfortable rooms are equipped with a fan, a personal safe and seating area. Rooms come with either a private or shared bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Select rooms offer a TV. At Panglao Chocolate Hills Resort, guests can access the bar from 06:00 - 18:00 daily. Breakfast is available at the in-house restaurant. The property is a 20-minute drive from Tagbilaran City and approximately a 25-minute drive to Tagbilaran Airport. Airport transfer can be arranged at an extra charge. Guests can also find dining options with a 10-minute walk from the property.

Great value for money, a beautiful place with the pool and restaurant, lots of activities going on and a good location. Room was very clean and I had a double bed which was nice. The room was also very large, with a desk, mirror, and table and chairs and balcony, and it was lovely having this much space. However, there were no lockers in the rooms. There was a safe, but the staff told me that the key for this was missing, and did not offer any alternative to store valuables. Also, the bathroom situation was a little odd, it was an ensuite shared between two dorm rooms. Sometimes the other room would forget to unlock the door to our room so we wouldn't have access to the bathroom. Luckily there were a few communal showers/toilets in additional to this.

Nicest hostel ever - but depends on the type of room. Amazing food and super friendly staff. Yoga classes, free diving, pool, ice bath.

“Nice resort”
Rooms were big and modern, cool that they look like the chocolate hills! Pool great and right outside room. Staff lovely and very helpful. Loved the vegan restaurant - great value for money & really tasty! Love that they offer yoga

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. There were frequent yoga sessions offered at the property, usually twice a day. The restaurant offered vegan food, which was a bonus for me as a vegetarian, but the taste was ok, not too bad. The location is not far from town, but you need to get a scooter upon arrival, otherwise, there won't be many options for getting around. Even going to the local beach could be a little difficult without a scooter due to a steep hill and a local road. The scooter journey was about 10 minutes, but I wouldn't try walking this part. The pool and aesthetics of the place look good.

“A solid option for its price but you get what you pay for”

“A lovely chilled out stay near to a beautiful beach.”
The place was very attractive and they have a restaurant area in the middle of the donut shaped pool which was sweet. The staff were sweet, polite and helpful and there is a very laidback vibe to the place, no noisy guests at night. The beach nearby was beautiful and reasonably clean, the hostel runs a beach clean up session each week which fits with their vegan eco ethos.
