“The staff are fantastic and location is great for divers but can be noisey”

The staff were fantastic and deserve all the praise anyone could offer. Their response time was exceptional, nothing was a bother for them and they were always helpful and kind. If you are diving, the location is great although a decent walk away from the main street of food and shops (half hour walk, 7 minute tuktuk) which was great for us and our purpose there. We never got to eat the breakfast but it looked lovely and the room was perfectly clean on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and the room was a lovely size.

“Lovely people and a lovely place”

The staff were super friendly, we upgraded to the biggest room, it was so nice with the balcony. Hired a scooter off them too, the manager was super helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. The place is far enough away from Alona beach to be quiet, and under 200peso for a tuktuk ride home at night, plent about at Alona beach late at night. They also organised for our lift to the airport at the end of our stay.

A terrible experience... even leaving aside the general noise of the accommodation and the lack of privacy (some windows had no curtains), from day one we were welcomed into a dirty and dusty environment (encrusted sinks, razor shards left by previous guests). On the third day, we found a cockroach in the bed, left part of our paid stay, and received no apology from the management.

Loved our stay at Pahiluna. Stayed for 3 nights. Roberto and his staff were very kind and friendly - they gave us local tips & helped us book boat day & any needed tuktuks. Breakfast was lovely too - bananas grown on site! Although a little out of Alona beach we really liked this - it was chilled with nearby food places and a short walk to the beach for the BEST sunset view! Very comfortable beds. Aircon was super quiet and effective. We slept really well. The fridge was also a great facility. Shower was powerful. Thank you very much for our stay. Yuki the dog was also a lovely furry friend bonus to our stay.

I liked the location, quite mellow away from the noise of alona beach but still only a 3 minute ride away. Room was clean, air con and hot water worked. Stayed for three nights but didn’t have any interaction with staff after checking in so can’t comment on that.

“Extremely friendly staff, can’t do enough for you, I’d go back”

Good location, easy walk into town, or many tuk tuks , I stayed in the cabin which was ideal for my purpose.

“Short stay before the flight”

Big room, private bathroom. Host was attentive and accomodating. There was a big common room which could be used. We had a very brief 1 night stay before our flight so did not have chance to observe and use all facilities.

The owner and the staff were very friendly and accomodating!

The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was nice :) Their dog was also very lovely and friendly and a highlight for me!

“Pleasant”

Relaxed stay. Good breakfast (2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, butter and jam, half a mango, small banana plus coffee or tea). Scooters available to rent.

The room was comfortable enough and had a nice little balcony where to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning. Breakfast was very good and included in the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The property is sorrounded by trees and plants and quite. There is a place where you can sit down eat your meal or drink one or two beverages.

Staff were very helpful/nice quiet location. A 10 minute ride to Alona beach. Room was very spacious, nice big balcony. Very close to the airport, but never really noticed the planes taking over/landing.

Great location a little bit outside from the main street and Alona Beach, which makes it perfect not so loud and more calm. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and big. Very good restaurant just on the next side of the street.
