It was okay, location was not the best but, as it was further for more lively area, but it’s quite typical for Mad Monkey hostels

The place made us feel comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming, especially Irish. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

The vibe was really nice

It was a really nice social hostel that had plenty of optional activities. I made a mistake and left my laundry there but thankfully Ivy was able to help. She managed to arrange a drop off at my next hostel and was really helpful throughout the whole process. It was great to get back as it was most of my clothes 😅. Thanks to the team and Ivy for all their help.

“Very reasonable place for young people in Panglao”

Clean dorms, large bed for a single, shower had hot water and was clean. Close to Alona beach. A bit more chill than other party hostels I’ve stayed in but overall a good experience

We loved our time at Mad Monkey Panglao. They offer a lot of activities, so it’s easy to meet new people. The staff is awesome, they’re super helpful and friendly. Especially Pedro and Keran were incredibly kind, created such a wonderful atmosphere and involved everyone :) Also the food and the drinks are really good.

The staff were so friendly! And for a solo traveler like me I didn’t once feel alone. Every night they have an exciting game to play! I like that the beds had privacy curtains in the mixed dormitory. Also there’s a brilliant tattoo artist on the premise!

You probably met a lot of people if that is what you are looking for. The showers are warm and there is a free water dispenser.

Staff not kind, room really dirty ( we found a condom on the floor), only one bathroom for 8 people ( neither another shower outside the room)...

“Would never stay here again”

It was cheap. Bar staff quite fun when doing kareoke.

We got lucky getting our own room for most of the stay. The staff were friendly and pool area was so nice!
