“If you want a cheaper stay right on the beach at Alona then it's probably OK here.”
It's right on the front where all the restaurants and bars and dive shops are. Lots of activities along the front and it's very pretty. But a resort I don't think it is. A basic room and shower. You pay for the proximity to the beach.

“Would stay again and would recommend”
Love that it was right on the beach. Could just walk out and you’re right in the middle of it all. Location was perfect. Room was clean and staff were helpful during my stay.

“AMAZING STAFF”
The staff are so friendly and very accomodating. I requested for the room to be decorated for my husband's birthday and they did not disappoint. On top of that, they sang Happy Birthday for him without me asking. Will definitely come back and recommend this place!

“Good location at Alona beach”
The Hayahay Resort has two properties within a few metres of each other on Alona Beach. The photos presented are from the newer one. We stayed on the older property. The rooms are basic, but clean. The lady from the reception was very nice..Good location, right on Alona beach.Good wifi.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to John at Genesis for helping organize ferry tickets, it made travel much easier. The room was spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of being right on the beach. Two complimentary bottles of water were provided, which was a nice touch.

“Great value, basic but comfy, right on beach, lovely staff.”
The Hayahay Resort has two properties within a few metres of each other on Alona Beach. We stayed in the older one, our room was on the second floor. It was basic but clean with a comfortable bed and a big window with mozzie gauze outside. No balcony but a great position right on the beach with a good cafe. The staff were really lovely and helpful, always smiling. We only stayed 2 nights, booked last minute as a cyclone was coming and our ferry out of Bohol was cancelled. We needed decent value & clean and this fitted the bill. Be aware that Alona Beach is really noisy at night due to competing bands/singers in each restaurant, but we weren’t disturbed as not many were playing due to the heavy rain.

“Great location beachfront”
Perfect location on the beachfront in the middle of Alona beach. Restaurant was great, at night the tables were set up on the beach, you could dine with sand in you toes. Good Wifi throughout the property. Staff Lovley, helped organise ongoing transfer.

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room with outside furniture. On the beach and just a walk away from town shops, bars and restaurants. Lady on reception always smiling and ready to help with anything. Sorry, didn't ask her name. Ordered cake for birthday and came with unexpected happy birthday wishes from some of the staff. Thank you all so much 😄
