Beautiful bungalow-style villas, decorated with great taste — the interiors are very stylish, with a pleasant, exotic scent throughout. The garden is stunning, full of lush greenery that is carefully maintained every day by a gardener. The pool was also very clean and regularly maintained daily. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of options. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and always smiling. We arrived very early in the morning, and even though check-in was supposed to be in the afternoon, our room was ready by 10:00 AM, which allowed us to rest after a long journey — a huge plus! The location was perfect for us — about 7–10 minutes by scooter from Alona Beach. The hotel is situated in a მშვიდ, quiet area, away from crowds, noise, and parties. In the evenings, you can relax and enjoy the stars in peace, accompanied only by the sound of crickets. There are restaurants nearby, a great French bakery, and a gym. Definitely the best hotel we stayed at in the Philippines!

A truly lovely hotel! The hotel has a large garden with a fantastic pool, which looks particularly beautiful in the evening with the palm trees. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The rooms are bright, the bed is very large, the bathroom is lovely, and above all, everything is spotlessly clean. We really love it here. The large gate shields you from the hustle and bustle, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden. Next to the hotel is a small café selling good coffee and pastries (croissants, etc.), and there's a gym right next to that. You can quickly reach all the beaches and the 7-Eleven by scooter, and there are plenty of restaurants along the street.

“Beautiful and peaceful stay”

We can wholeheartedly recommend the Commander Suites on Bohol! The property is beautiful and well maintained, with a lovely garden and pool area. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and renting a scooter directly through the accommodation was easy and convenient. Overall, we felt completely at ease and would definitely come back – a 100% recommendation!

The outside are is great, huge swimming pool and nice garden to relax. Breakfast was good and stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice property in awesome garden. Country-style houses in a nice, well-kept garden with a large, clean swimming pool. Wifi is working very well - high speed & stable. Small tv , small fridge, kettel, A/C available in the room. King size comfortable bed. Breakfast available but a bit monotonous for longer stays. The property is located a bit far from touristic centrum but the good thing is quiet & peaceful location. The nicer beach Dumaluan beach is around 5min drive (scooter or tuktuk) - I suggest to go there through white beach .... because to reach Dumaluan beach directly, the resorts security ask you fee to get the beach. Alona beach (contrary to many opinions, it is not a nice beach) is around 15...20min drive from the hotel.

I really liked this place, the designof the room, good water temperature, clean room and bathroom and amazing pool and such a beautiful garden. The staff was really nice, good breakfasts. For me location was perfect, close to bohol and good place to start sightseeeing on a motorbike (you need motorbke anyway anywhere in the philippines to be honest). Nothing to complain about. :)

Very kind and helpful staff, amazing pool and outside area. Beds are so comfortable and rooms are spacious. You have a good selection for breakfast. They can arrange a scooter for you for 450 php per day. It’s around 10 min ride to the city center and Alona beach.

“Great place with super friendly staff”

Very good nice and clean place with a wonderful pool and friendly staff! We could check in early and out later. Staff was super helpful. They helped to rent a motorcycle and everything is closely. Would visit again!

The hospitality and kindness of the staff was world class! My female partner arrived a day earlier late at night and was a bit worried. The team made her feel super welcome and safe from the first minute. Bathrooms have also been recently renovated and are very modern. All our different requests such as laundry and scooter rental were accommodated in a prompt manner.

“Absolutely brilliant”

The staff are truly fantastic - knowledgable and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The grounds are beautifully kept and so tranquil. The pool is very big and has enough sunbeds to accommodate even a full hotel. The room was a good size with all required amenities. The hotel arranged our scooter hire and transport back to the airport. We will return.
