The Cliffside Resort is amazing place to stay, it’s organized in a perfect way that the houses, the pool and the bar/restaurant are close to each other, the staff is very friendly and they managed to organize for us renting a scooter and trip around Bohol very fast and efficient. You can access the sea by a stair and you find beautiful reefs near by to snorkel.

Our 5-night stay at Cliffside Resort was the undisputed highlight of our trip. If you value peace and quiet over the usual tourist hullabaloo, this is your sanctuary. The Vibe: Exceptionally tranquil with superb cliffside views. You can wander down the path for a bit of snorkeling right on your doorstep. The Service: The team is remarkably attentive. A massive shout-out to Julia and the team, whose hospitality was nothing short of legendary. In a world of "bare minimum" service, they were a breath of fresh air—genuinely attentive and seemingly on a mission to ensure we didn't have to lift a finger. Facilities: Spotless rooms and a pool that’s actually maintained daily (a rarity, let's be honest). Dining: While there’s a brilliant Japanese spot just a 4-minute stroll away, the resort itself offers several vegetarian and vegan options. We’ll almost certainly be back next time we’re in Panglao. Highly recommended for anyone who prefers quality service over a crowded lobby.

We loved staying there. The food at the hotel restaurant was great. We also went on a fishing trip, and they were able to pick us up from the hotel by boat. In addition, we rented a car to visit more places through the hotel. On our last day, we spent some time at the swimming pool, which was lovely. It’s a great place to stay with a lot of services

Fabulous location but needed to hire a scooter to get around otherwise would be quite isolated.staff helpful and able to sort. Pool was great, place was quiet in the evenings, linen was clean and new

Loved the tranquility of the resort, close enough to Alona. We hired a car so getting around was easy. Restaurant serves tasty food and is fairly priced. You can snorkel off the cliff and the sea is beautifully clear in deeper water away from the grass

Good Points : Quiet and relaxing. Serene and not a busy accommodation. What to improve : 1. Basic amenities like kettle and blowdryer should be included. Even small and cheap hotels in Europe have this in their Standard Rooms. 2. Something off-smelling in the toilet. I assume it’s the Drainage. The water coming out from the shower has a smell too. 3. Food Variety at the restaurant. Knowing that you are far from the main road and stores, they should have an extended choices of meals. We ordered food one night and our serving was quite small whilst the foreigner couple next to our table ordered the same but their serving was quite big. Just because we are locals doesn’t mean we have to get service like that. We deserve equal treatment too. 4. Payment. This should be advertised or included in your advertisement that any card payments will have to pay extra 5% charge. I never knew this until I had to directly message the resort. So your prices here is not as accurate. I hope this helps and I you improve your service and facilities.

“A great value stay in a perfect location”

initially booked 2 nights in one of the small rooms but enjoyed the resort so much that I decided to stay another 2 nights. Since that room wasn’t available I moved to one of the larger rooms and can definitely recommend choosing one of those. The one I then stayed in definitely seemed more “recent”. I ultimately stayed even one night longer .. all easily done through booking.com :) The resort is nicely laid-out, cozy, clean and well-maintained. I took the stairs down to the sea every day for a swim. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It was fun teaching them how to mix some cocktails not on their list. The food was good, although I pretty much only had their salads. I rented a scooter which the resort staff organized for 500 pesos a day. Had I known that I was going to end up staying for 5 nights, I probably would have rented on in town in order to get a better deal (saw signs as low as 350). Since the location is pretty remote, I’d say it is a must unless you want to rely on Tuk-Tuks all the time or just not leave the resort. I found a great yoga studio a town over … 10 mins by scooter. Would definitely stay at this resort again.
