It was clean and comfortable. Location is great for tours and the beach. I especially like the shower, it had a filter and good water pressure

Great value for price. Located in center but on small green side street, so its quiet and not far from all activities.

Near to everything , 8 to 10 minutes walk to Alona beach, doesn't bother us at all, that makes a little walking exercise 😉. Quiet enough from the busy city and streets nearby.. Bed is comfortable. Soap, towels,fridge,water boiler are included. Air conditioned works well, their is youtube on the television netflix as well to connect your account. Hot shower available, nice staff, convenient drinks available at reception desk. Just turn on the ceiling fan to avoid mosquito bites on the terrace. You can go at Mcdo or Jollibee for the pancakes breakfast with coffee 😉. Pictures on website are real, no suprises.

Our hosts were really helpful and always available. The room was clean, cool and comfortable with plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay, including a fridge and very speedy washing machine just outside our door :) It was also nice to have a terrace. The Gecko Inn is in an ideal location, close to the beach, restaurants etc but still really quiet for sleeping. Highly recommend. Thank you!

“Friendly and comfortable”

We really enjoyed our spacious room, good air conditioning, peaceful terrace, good fridge to cool our drinking water and the free washer. The drying rack on the terrace is a great idea. The staff were really lovely and helpful. It was easy to walk to the beach and to restaurants. Very reasonably priced.

“Good budget option”

I booked this place last minute due to a change of plans. I therefore didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. I also appreciate the free use of the laundry machine and water. The room was quite basic,but perfectly located and had everything needed for a short stay. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the 1,000-peso deposit required before check-in, which made both check-in and check-out somewhat cumbersome. Overall, a good choice at a budget price point!

Excellent location very close to everything in Alona Beach. Good value for money given location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The little fridge of beers and drinks was appreciated.

The location was great if you want to be near the main strip, you couldn't hear much noise from the road in the room. The bathroom was very nice and the room was spacious. The staff were super accommodating and friendly as well

Fantastic comfortable and clean room in a great location near Alona Beach - it’s calm and peaceful and set back from the main street. The staff are extremely friendly and drinking water is provided for free. There’s a washing machine and space to hang clothes to dry, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and didn’t want to leave!
