The breakfast was wonderful, fusion menu like nasi lemak, roti canai, scrambled egg, toast, sausages, local kuih like karipap and fruit, tea and coffee. Amazing scenery from the breakfast area, i can see the beach and also calming trees and hornbills on the other side. Comfortable stay and would coming back to this place if I'm at Teluk Nipah area. The staffs are all helpful and friendly from the first day of our stay until our check out day. I like Utan Teluk Nipah concept, quiet and peaceful, perhaps because of its location. There were monkeys but maybe during our visit, it was a well-behaved monkeys. Did not cause any chaos or break into rooms. I would recommend this place. The only thing that I would like to note is that Kiblat (Qiblat) sign placed in the room is different from what is shown in our Kiblat apps. Any Muslim guests perhaps double-checked the Kiblat in your own apps and compare with the sign in the room before you start your prayer. Toilet is clean, water pressure good and the heater is working well. Room is comfortable as well, you will be provided with an A/C and a standing fan, at night it is going to be cold so guest will get option to use fan or the A/C.

The facilities, service and location is really good. And owner is very hospitable to upgrade our room! Would be better if have proper path or way to go uphill. But overall is great!

Breakfast was pretty basic—just some Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, toast, and coffee—but it was honestly the perfect way to start the day. Udin was a legend; he was super easy to reach and helped us out with everything. We even rented scooters directly from them, which made exploring the area a total breeze!

Just our type of place to stay. From the moment of arrival the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They met the taxi to carry our cases up the steep incline, laundered our clothes and even found a little screwdriver to mend my glasses. We even hired a scooter from them at very little cost. Breakfast catered for different tastes:- roti, scrambled eggs, sausage, spring rolls, curry samosas, toast, watermelon etc. The highlight was when a pied hornbill joined us for watermelon, the monkeys a little less welcome but nice to watch from afar. The cabin itself had a lovely comfortable bed with curtains to keep out the mosquitoes. Great little hanging rail with plenty of coat hangers (often lacking in hotels), hairdryer, kettle and coffee, creamer and sugar. A bedside table at Lee’s side and dresser. The wet room had a heated shower, conditioning shampoo, shower gel, soaps and toilet rolls. Nice big towels. Overall an excellent place to stay and we’d give it 11 out of 10 and would certainly recommend or stay again.

Such lovely people, both the owner and the personnel. They truly helped us out with any questions and arrangements. Very lovely place in nature and with a view. We saw hornbills during breakfast and monkeys in the evening.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room had a beautiful woody interior that created a serene and calming ambiance. The room itself was spacious, large, and very clean, which made it comfortable throughout my stay. The toilet was also impressively spacious and well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the balcony—it was absolutely lovely and a perfect spot to relax. The surrounding sounds of nature added to the peaceful atmosphere, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and the front desk staff (Din) was kind, approachable, and always ready to assist. Their hospitality really made a difference. Overall, a wonderful stay for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil environment.

“Perfect”

This is my second time here. It’s perfect for people who love nature and hills — the view from the hill overlooking the sea is incredibly chill and healing. The staff are friendly, and the simple breakfast in the morning is warm and comforting.

This was the best accomodation in malaysia for me. I loved the nature around it, we could see monkeys and hornbills almost all the time. The staff was o friendly and very helpful with everything. The room was perfectly clean and really beautiful. (I expected insects in the room tho but There wasn't a single ant! ) Also you have a lot of privacy in your bungalow.

Very accommodating owner and staff. Nice location for the beach and seafood.

The vibes, rooms, all the wood things, nature nature, the quiet, the peace, can sleep very good good 👍🏻 Much recommend. Breakfast fkin good, semua sedap and just nice. And then got the honebill bebird drop by say hi while we makan the breakfast.
