“Charming and comfortable overnight stay in a city with few options”

This is mostly a transit hotel for people travelling to Tanjung Puting National Park. So it was nice to find a hotel with some traditional charm - including the garden and architecture. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good omelette for breakfast. I also had an excellent soup for dinner in the restaurant (there aren’t many dining or hotel options in Pangkalan Bun).

Kalimantan architecture hotel with bags of character and a lovely garden to have breakfast in the morning. So much better than a sterile modern hotel options if traveling to Pangbun

I really liked what I believe was the traditional Indonesian style of the whole hotel and the beautiful calm tropical garden with a carp pond and fountain and lots of different places to sit. The restaurant had really good service and food and our room was cool, clean and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

They allowed me to check in early as my orangutan trip ended quicker than I thought. I wasn't able to stay long due to issues with my flight. But from what I saw the hotel seems clean and well maintained and I can't complain about the staff helping me.

Huge room in the best part of town. Clean and had all the amenities. Staff were very helpful. Excellent ambience with big garden at the back. They serve early breakfast for people like me who had to catch an early flight.

I particularly loved the beautiful garden, where you can sit. My room was big, comfortable, the air conditioning was not loud and I slept very well. The breakfast had good indonesian dishes.
