Ocean front location. The mamas prepared a really nice breakfast everyday, with freah fruit, toast, mandazi and other deep fried breads. The stews they made and traditional Tanzanian food was excellent and delicious. Clean and fresh. Even arranged a little surprise bbq at the beach for us since we stayed quite long time and it was over Christmas. John is knowledgeable and can arrange nice trips for you if you wish, highly recommend to go to Maziwe for snorkling.

We liked everything. House is beautiful. Perfect location. Directly on the beach. We had all we needed, we couldn't wish more. Compare to Zanzibar, beach is so calm. All yours. Children enjoyed a lot. Simply perfect.

“Lovely stay at Ushongo Beach House”

We had such a lovely time at Ushongo beach house. It is a very relaxing place, right on the sea front - the sunrises in the morning were stunning. All the staff were so kind - Lucy cooked us amazing food, Rahim was very helpful and Louis made sure that my friend made it to the airport on time, and let me check out late and enjoy my last day. It felt like they went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable. Nice food next door also, fresh catch of the day. I'd highly recommend!

Amazing, beautiful, clean, organized, almost private beach and a very quiet place to enjoy! Lucy is very nice, helpful and friendly! And communication in Booking also was great! They helped me to organise a named cake for my friend's birthday last minute! We wish to stay longer next time: fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, nice breakfast, ocean view from the bed - all this made our trip unforgettable! Also you can take a boat to go to snorkeling which was unbelievable Many thanks 🙏

It was a wonderful stay at Louis's House. A very nice house, well equiped with modern bathroom, AC, fan and maintened by Lucy who is also a great cooker and very helpful, whatever you need she's there. Thank you Lucy! Rahim is the manager's house, he took us for snorkeling, river cruise and also to Zanzibar, with great price! Thanks to you! A special thank to Louis and his wife, so helpful and welcoming!
