“Fantastic!”
Top hotel. We loved the location at the lake but also close to all the shops and restaurants. So quiet, green, well kept. Nice swimming pool with slide, beautiful view from the terrace, very helpful staff, nice extras like table tennis, football goals, big trampoline, hammocks.

“Great location, beautiful views and gardens with great facilities and friendly staff all at a reasonable price”
The courtyards were very pretty, the garden was beautiful with a climbing frame, trampolines and little football goals for the children to enjoy and the pool had a fantastic slide too. Staff were always very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurants was good too

“Not great for us.”
Got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant. No hot water in the shower, and wasn’t fixed when mentioned to staff multiple times. Price was different from online to when I paid at the hotel and was ridiculously expensive for the amenities and quality of stay. And no lake view from the ‘lake view’ hotel room because there’s a big fence up.

Hotel Posada de Don Rodrigo is in a prime spot in Panajachel. It is next to the lake and many of the main attractions of Panajachel. It is also right next to Panajachel's main ferry/boat port. If you have kids, they have an excellent play area, including trampolines and playsets. The pool also includes a water slide (tobagán).
